I had made some bird treats earlier today with coconut oil, peanut butter, oats, seeds and dried cranberries. I love the idea of using the apples. I will do that next time. Have a Blessed Imbolc.

I was just out feeding my wild birds, who have come back in droves. And trimming the Honeysuckle. Of all things, you are speaking of both. As I trimmed the "dead" branches, I found the little sprouts along the branches, coming back to life again. I love the apple feeder, and will modify it a bit by using a mini fruit ball maker to scoop out the inside. I love my birds. Imbolc, for me, is the first day of Spring; As I have been watching the seasons turn for so long, And little crocus and daffodil are breaking through the ground. Blessings be to you for this lovely video. I have to say this is the BEST video I've watched on Imbolc. Love the painting.

We estimate the amount of hay & firewood we have left, and recall the old saying, "Half the wood & half the hay, you should have by Candlemas Day".

Lovely video. I have been a witch all my life...in my mind, but didn't really start celebrating or practicing until last year. I am a Green Eclectic Kitchen Witch who works with crystals and plants. I'm looking forward to celebrating Imbolc today. I eat low-carb, so going to make a Fat-head dough bread with seeds, build a fire in the fire pit and burn papers that connect me to old energies, to make way for the new. I have lit candles in many rooms and ask for Brighid's Gift.

That bread recipe is amazing! I've made a braided fruit ring, dinner rolls, and sandwich bread. It's easy and very grounding to make. Most of my recipes suggest a stand mixer. I'm very much enjoying getting my hands in and just making bread. Thank you so much for this!

So wonderful. I actually made homemade French bread and homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles as well. Such a wonderful and comforting meal and we took our dog for a walk to the park nearby. The sky was dark and overcast and it was cold but it was nice to get out in Nature after a good hearty meal. I may have to make these bird feeders. I wonder if squirrels would eat them as well? We have quite a few little creatures that come and visit us daily including morning doves, Bluejays and lots of squirrels. It’s so rewarding sharing space with them. Imbolc Blessings❄️🌱🌞

As Imbolc is nearing here in the SH I’m looking around the forest in which I live for inspiration for ideas for my Imbolc Altar. The Australian Wattle is starting to bloom with its bright yellow flowers so there will be many vases of it in my cottage in the next coming weeks. There’s lots of birds here so I’m loving the apple treat feeders you’ve created here, and I just might give them a whirl. Oh BTW just a tip the ‘b’ in Imbolc is silent 😉

So wonderful. I actually made homemade French bread and homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles as well. Such a wonderful and comforting meal and we took our dog for a walk to the park nearby. The sky was dark and overcast and it was cold but it was nice to get out in Nature after a good hearty meal. I may have to make these bird feeders. I wonder if squirrels would eat them as well? We have quite a few little creatures that come and visit us daily including morning doves, Bluejays and lots of squirrels. It’s so rewarding sharing space with them. Imbolc Blessings❄️🌱🌞

I'm staring at one now eating away - it's so cute as he is perching next to it scooping the seeds out like the apple is a bowl 😍 he has more manners than the one yesterday though... Yes, it helps to keep them warm! You can also use peanut butter or coconut oil as substitutes 🤗💚🌲🌱🌿

As Imbolc is nearing here in the SH I’m looking around the forest in which I live for inspiration for ideas for my Imbolc Altar. The Australian Wattle is starting to bloom with its bright yellow flowers so there will be many vases of it in my cottage in the next coming weeks. There’s lots of birds here so I’m loving the apple treat feeders you’ve created here, and I just might give them a whirl. Oh BTW just a tip the ‘b’ in Imbolc is silent 😉

@@AlwynOak I just hung out apples with mix inside from your recipie. We have had a massive snowfall lately, and i throw out vegetables and apples for the deer and seeds for the birds on the ground. A lot more charming with the apples. So again ,thank you ;) I would love some mroe diy food items for the creatures living outside in the winter - if you have. I feel it's our duty to take care of them
