We were in Juneau the day before on a cruise and went to the ACE hardware store. They had yellow and pink spoons on the shelf. Single and treble hooks alike in the package. We asked what they were biting on, and they told us yellow and pink spoons 😂. Quite convenient! Most of the, were snags, but Matt caught his in the mouth like a true angler. Lots of cheap fun! Make sure to get your day pass for fishing.
You wouldn’t believe the locals there with the treble hooks and big lead weights! I guess I’m glad we didn’t have a run in with any local enforcements to test your statement! 🤠
Can you share what you used for bait or lure? I'm going next year

I found my fishing license today! We purchased it at Tongass Trading Co in Ketchikan. It was in the upstairs level. Good luck!
What kind of rods are those?
I’m not sure, but they were $27 each on Amazon. Collapsible offshore rods, fit in my backpack and they worked great!
Those are some big O fish awesome
We had a blast! The out of state license dictated we had to catch and release, but we weren’t going to bring them back on the cruise ship anyway 🤓
😂 it’s illegal to snag in town you can only snag out at herring Cove so what ever they told you it was a lie😂
