Hi guys! Short one today... I started working on a new trunk floor for the 1960 Chevy "Biscala" that we've been putting together, or at least, taking apart, haha...
Thanks so much to everyone who ordered a 1937 Chevy shirt! They are being printed now and we'll ship them out as soon as they are done! ... Cheers from me and Miss Frankers!
See you on Saturday for the SOS...

Anybody that can take a flat piece of metal and use a stump, a vise, a trailer hitch ball and a ball peen hammer and make an intricate panel out of it is talented in my book ! I love it when you show us how you make panels. I have learned a lot watching you make panels and the Boogie Van paint job still blows me away.

I do not understand why Scott doesn't have a million subscribers. We can watch car repair channels that have $100,000 budgets with all the latest high dollar repair equipment and while it's fun to watch, none of us have money for that type of equipment. All of us are on a budget and Scott shows us how to accomplish tasks on a budget. To me that is way more helpful than watching Robbie Layton fabricate metal with elaborate tools that I will never be able to own. But I have a stump of wood, a vise and a trailer ball and I could "attempt" to do something like Scott did. The magic is on his head and hands for sure but he plants the seed that we can take and attempt our own projects. It take years to get proficient on metal work like Scott is but this channel gets great results on a budget and it's attainable for all of us watching to do what Scott does with practice. In my opinion this channel is way more valuable to an old guy like me than watching a sponsored channel with state of the art tools and methods that I will never have access to. There isn't a better channel on You Tube. There might not be millions of us watching but by damn we are a loyal bunch of subscribers. Thank you Scott.

The humor. Watching you pound flatstock on a trailer ball is how we do things. This is the real car hobby, the way it was done. Dear old dad was a hot rodder in the 1950s. Guys made stuff by hand with what they had. Pounding on rusty crap on a bench vise because you cannot buy it. Walk into a part store and ask for Hudson parts. Nope. Pound, drill, weld, improvise. Drive. This is the real car hobby for real people.

9 wheezin' chortles by Tom today (including a 3-peat and the "SOS" epilogue) is a nice count for a short video. He floated in and out like a zephyr on a summer breeze, leaving us wanting more.
On a serious note, as a recent pensioner with several 4-wheeled dependents, I would like to thank all the generous Patreons (in the name of all the fans watching our nickels and dimes) for supporting this glorious enterprise so Scott can splice cars & postings for us. Bravo to all!

Harder than the Mark 6 Lincoln you hammered on for some long long time. This is nice tho that you have a open trunk bottom to refer to. Being there in person allows you to see curves and from prior experience of melding metal makes a large difference in outcome. Just seeing it come together piece by piece is enough to help you gain some confidence in its outcome........... Great work Scott. I honestly think Canadian men see stuff like this clearer than say many other shops in our country. Good body men are really in short supply. Doing it in sections yet large enough to keep it from looking like a welders nightmare...

Oh, one more thing every shop has an old fella like Tom, just full of knowledge. Scott, you have Tom. I have Charlie, and let me tell you, Charlie is the state's version of Tom. What a treat as you say. I love the show. I can't wait for the next video. Cheers

Always love watching You work metal Scott. I build Wind Tunnels for a living and work in metal fiberglass. I can still learn things watching You. The trunk floor is pretty straight forward & still worth seeing to Me. Great conten for a fab Guy to digest. 👍Cheer's.

Cheers from Illinois..another great short video!
Still amazes me how you create the parts that you need by using simple hand tools and a vice, a stump and hitch ball. I would not have imagined any of it myself.
Thanks for showing us the magic in your creation. 😮😅
Love your dedication to your craft. See ya Saturday.

Thanks for this update. Got hooked following your program back in Frazer days. Went to an all old Mopars show a couple weeks ago wearing my black 60 Fury T-shirt. Fun.
