Great sound and brilliant seeing Phil Cunningham in the band with Sharon
Hail, Hail Super Sharon! She could bring peace to the Middle East with that smile.
Wonderful: thanks for the post
Love these sessions cause no one wants to dominate or drown each-other out, this is as good as it gets, sublime.
Love Sharon Shannon! Her playing is superb, and she's a joy to watch! Jerry Douglas is awesome too! He can fit in in any musical setting. Not many people can do that.
Such an amazing performance and elegant music. I wonder why would someone hit the dislike button!. Sharon rocks.
+Mohammed Elhassan Elhussein there are a lot of people who a racist towards us Irish, this accounts for a lot of dislikes on Irish trad music videos ect........

This is the best thing I've found on the internet so far...
i've had the pleasure and honour of playing sessions with this incredible lady since i was a kid and she's the nicest woman anyone could ever meet
Funny, I've only seen videos of her performance but always thought the same thing. Always has the nicest smile on her face. Someday I'd like to see her live!
yet again, watching this puts a smile on my face. wish i was in there when they played that. inspires me so!
Her Royal Highness,Sharon, Queen of Ireland, what a fantastic player

I can't even begin to guess how many times I've watched this video now... this is so good! Anybody know what tune this is? (I think it's only one)
Exactly like my transcription on thesession...
the maestros of their instruments....... class.....tenor banjo is way more suited to irish music than 5 string
so old this video
Funny, my brother has the exact same shirt that Gerry is wearing...
Todd parks - I've updated my description.
Very nice, but who's on the bass?
génial..
i, thats a right bit of tuneage that is!
Lucky you!
does anyone have link to this tabbed or sheet music?
sorry for interrupt but i need help. need the name of this song /watch?v=KSuh3US9cSM i guess its Irish song. Ty respect for sharon shannon shes best song for me is cavan potholes.
Sounds like Jerry's playing back-up on the whole tune.
beat de fuck..sum session
does anyone have the tune names?
go scotty
Key of F. Try tuning to Drop D and put capo at 3rd fret and play a D chord.
Nice to se Sharon dispenses with the bass side in order to concentrate on the tune. She already has a bass doing it for her. Other diatonic players take note. You are NOT playing a piano accordion. Hear the difference..
i did not write that!
geoffthebull. The Accordion is a two handed instrument for a reason. If she wanted to use only one hand Sharon should take up the melodica. Ireland is full of one handed accordionists.
