Townes Van Zandt interview - 1993

Peter Schiffman, Geology professor at UC Davis and host of the Saturday Morning Folk Show on KDVS for many years, talks with Townes Van Zandt before his show at the Palms Playhouse in February of 1993.
He tells the story of how he wrote the song Pancho and Lefty - and proves once and for all who the song was written about. Spoiler alert - Pancho was not based on Pancho Villa.
