I used to listen to Closer when I couldn’t really understand English sentences (I’m Italian, 16, finally considered bilingual!) That just hit me. I just understood that. Feels good. Learn a second, third, forth, even fifth language y’all. It’s rewarding.

I remember the first time I watched this video 3 years ago and I was going through the same thing. I just remember be like oh my god she understands. Like she really gets this feeling and as the years went on I got over my trauma and I got to watch ashley do the same and grow. I saw her live for the first time June 30th and I sobbed. She is just so happy now and it’s like she just blossomed more. She is so strong and just so beautiful. Her family is beautiful. I love her so much just so happy for her.🤍😭
