"Hey, that's not white..." Lol. I just LOVE that it was a thing that I wouldn't even notice if I don't get this figure. The detail level is amazing!
The $100 gives off more life, and the nicely done details of it make it look glassy, more suitable to be on display. The cheaper one gives off cheap plastic vibes, and that it consists of poor quality. Definitely would pay the extra money for the more expensive one; just the details are so.. nice!

After watching this, i'm glad i stopped from buying the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Kamado Nezuko Figure Statue, the real one was only 500 made, then the fake one on ebay looks similar, but i bet there are differences plus it is not cheap even for a fake one.....the one with the moon and tree with light up lanterns....
i bought the fake 25 dollar one on amazon and i was actually surprised it had small details, highlights, and shading. there is a few places where there could've been fixed.. but in my opinion I think i got one of the better fakes. the hair wasn't threaded through her arm but the shading on the base (like the little holes)are a different color and also the back of the piece is covered.. but it isn't as detailed and shiny as the 100 dollar one but i say its stull pretty nice.

This is so bizarre. I didn't even know there was a market for fake sculptures, essentially. I wonder how old this form of piracy is. It's kind of impressive, though, that they did that good of a job so cheaply. If I tried to make one, it would be much worse.
idk if its just me but i prefer the bootleg i will probably just retouch the paint job because i just like seeing them in my desk and im not an actual collector since im too broke for it
i like just having figures around that resemble the caracters i like from a 3-5 meter distance, and i can do some painting myself, ive bought fakes before and was pleasantly suprised

Same, I bought a 1/4 statue that wasn’t real and it just has like 2 tiny paint scuffs but in my opinion $500 for a statue ain’t worth it.
