Dude ! I have one of these but its on the road running an Emerald ECU and BOB cams Its the best car ford never made IMO . Stop messing about with those ancient ammeters get it an mot and Enjoy ! also join the XR owners club if you haven't already
Cool car but all those gauges are a definite no. Ammeters are a pita and only reserved for the 50's cars. Remember a sierra alternator is either 70 or 90 amp depending on spec probably 90 amp. That Ammeter will be die.... Get your self some nice stack gauges for volts, oil pressure, and air fuel ratio. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 And then one for boost when you strap a pair of turbos to it... 😎
That's the engine that ford should have used in the first place for the XR4X4. Cool!
