@@darronoffer8568 Any scholar who says the death sentence applies to leaving the faith, then the convict is to be given a life-time to repent, and this is the view of Sufyan al-Thawri, Ibrahim al-Nakha’ee, Shamsuddeen al-Sarakhshi, Imam al-Baji and, by strong implication, Ahmad Ibn Taimiya. One must conclude that the death sentence is not for “simple apostasy” (mujarrad al-ridda), but for apostasy accompanied by treason and sedition, or by the abuse and slander (sabb) of the Noble Prophet.
Freedom to convert to or from Islam
"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance." Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The Glorious Qur'an says, "Let there be no compulsion in the religion: Surely the Right Path is clearly distinct from the crooked path." Al Baqarah, 2:256.
"Those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe again, then disbelieve, and then increase in their disbelief - Allah will never forgive them nor guide them to the path." Surah An-Nisa', 4:137.
For example, the Qur'an says: "Let him who wishes to believe, do so; and let him who wishes to disbelieve, do so." (Al-Kahf: 29)
In another verse, Allah Almighty says: "Yours is only the duty to convey the message; you are not a guardian over them." (Al-Ghashiyah: 21- 22)
The quotation from Surah An-Nisa', 4:137, shown above, seems to imply that multiple, sequential apostasies are possible. That would not be possible if the person were executed after the first apostasy.
From the above verses it can be argued that religious freedom and the absence of compulsion in religion requires that individuals be allowed adopt a religion or to convert to another religion without legal penalty.
Hence the death penalty is not an appropriate response to apostasy.
The former Chief Justice of Pakistan, SA Rahman, has written that there is no reference to the death penalty in any of the 20 instances of apostasy mentioned in the Qur'an.
Muslims who support the death penalty for apostasy use as their foundation the above cited hadith, in which the Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said: "Kill whoever changes his religion." But this is a weak foundation because this hadith was only transmitted from Muhammad (pbuh) by one individual. It was not confirmed by a second person. According to Islamic law, this is insufficient confirmation to impose the death penalty. The Shari`ah has not fixed any punishment for apostasy.
The hadith is so generally worded that it would require the death penalty for a Christian or Jew who converted to Islam. This is obviously not the prophet's intent. The hadith is in need of further specification, which has not been documented. Many scholars interpret this passage as referring only to instances of high treason. (e.g. declaring war on Islam, Muhammad (pbuh), God, etc.).
There is no historical record, which indicates that Muhammad (pbuh) or any of his companions ever sentenced anyone to death for apostasy.

    • @muhammadjohanjoestarjojo6117
      @muhammadjohanjoestarjojo6117 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

@@darronoffer8568 There are hadiths stating apostates were not sentenced to death: A man from among the Ansar accepted Islam, then he apostatized and went back to Shirk. Then he regretted that, and sent word to his people (saying): 'Ask the Messenger of Allah [SAW], is there any repentance for me?' His people came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and said: 'So and so regrets (what he did), and he has told us to ask you if there is any repentance for him?' Then the Verses: 'How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their Belief up to His saying: Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful' was revealed. So he sent word to him, and he accepted Islam.
      - Al-Sunan al-Sughra 37:103[47]
There was a Christian who became Muslim and read the Baqarah and the Al Imran, and he used to write for the Prophet. He then went over to Christianity again, and he used to say, Muhammad does not know anything except what I wrote for him. Then Allah caused him to die and they buried him.
      - Sahih al-Bukhari, 4:56:814
A bedouin gave the Pledge of allegiance to Allah's Apostle for Islam and the bedouin got a fever where upon he said to the Prophet "Cancel my Pledge." But the Prophet refused. He came to him (again) saying, "Cancel my Pledge.' But the Prophet refused. Then (the bedouin) left (Medina). Allah's Apostle said: "Medina is like a pair of bellows (furnace): It expels its impurities and brightens and clears its good."

One must conclude that the death sentence is not for “simple apostasy” (mujarrad al-ridda), but for apostasy accompanied by treason and sedition, or by the abuse and slander (sabb) of the Noble Prophet.

Hello! Ex Muslim here! Apostate Prophet (the man seen on the video) grew up Muslim and his life pretty much circulated around Islam, at times he was religious, at times he was not. Fortunately for me, i left Islam at 12 when I realize “nope, this religion is not for me.” I did loose friends due to becoming atheist, but they weren’t friends worth having if they didn’t respect my decision, anyways, apostate prophet, as I said had his life circulating around Islam, and when he realized it was false his life was probably shaken since Islam had been his explanation to everything, the universe, why he exists etc. he even mentioned being at the brink of suicide after that he realized his ‘life was not worth living as it had no point anymore’. If you think AP is pathetic, you should realize these men that debated him are too. I’m not saying that ripping the Quran was a good action, but why I think AP does what he does is because I don’t think he wants people to experience the same dread as he did when he realized what Islam truly is. I grew up conservative, very conservative, and when I left Islam it felt weird not saying Bismillah before eating or waking up at 4 am to pray Fajr, but I felt more free than ever. I know I’m an apostate, and is meant to be executed for leaving Islam. But at least I had a break of freedom before getting sunk. Don’t cherry-pick religious messages like most Muslims do, and please realize that AP isn’t the weak gremlin Islamic media paints him to be. ❤

And no Apostate Prophet did mention clearly that had there been no proven irregularities or issues, it wouldn't have been a problem, but that is not the case and hence incest is wrong
There is also a documentary on a brother and sister who were separated at birth, but met each other later and fell in love unbeknownst to each other that they were actually siblings...they even went on to have a child who did not have any genetic issues...is this wrong? After minor ones are complete, then will come Messih-Ad-Dajjal. It's not very long until he comes. No one is sure when will he come except Allah. As u said, if he wanted to leave islam as he believed it had no truth, leave it. He has made his Carter about defaming islam because his soul, like any other, is craving the truth of the oneness of Allah but his feeble mind and darkened heart is trying to fill the gapping hole left, by trying to justify his reasoning about Islam with lack of proof, intellectual arguments and evidence. As a great man once said. THis guys FINISHED. 😉

Increasingly difficult to pray for his guidance when it seems like all hope is lost, not even in an Islamic perspective, but from a moral standpoint for this lowlife... Even so, it is with resentment that I begrudgingly say may Allah guide him to goodness or at least expel the evil from his heart.
