This has been rotting in my unlisteds for a while, but Fire told me to release it so I did. Obviously I'm still not the best person to be doing shit like this, but I did my best and had a lot of fun working on this. I discovered this glitch solo and spent a few days messing with new strats and routes to shave what ended up being another 6 seconds off the original glitch, so I decided to put it all together in a full-on flap TAS to see how I'd do.
The original version of the glitch involved clipping a wall behind the finish line with spear to clear the invis wall entirely, followed by the same clip out as in the video. I then drove through checkpoint 58 and jumped into the water after the tunnel. There was no need to hit the key checkpoint, as I respawned in it anyway. This version of this glitch could totally be done RTA, but it would still suck and I doubt anything more than a flap can be made out of it, so I don't see anyone bothering.
After that, I experimented with better entries, and found with a shroom and a bullet bike trick I could land on one of the the poles and squeeze myself through the invisible wall so that I'd land faster and keep a trick boost. Unfortunately the first pole wouldn't push me through the invis, so I had to settle for the one behind it. I also noticed that while all of the out-of-bounds collision surrounding the bridge up top was encased in invis so that you can't hit it, there was a stray bit that extended under the end of the bridge that I could hit by using the horrific bump in the middle of the road. This not only allowed me to respawn earlier, but also got me a respawn at the end of the bridge instead of the beginning, and overall saved me about 4-5 seconds.
Lastly, after messing around with landings from the clip, I finally managed to exit to the right and shit out a lowtrick off the log. The landing was already incredibly tight because the clip was ass with bullet bike (I barely made it past the part of the wall that would have pushed me backwards instead), but to top it all off I couldn't make it far enough right to get a lowtrick off the log without getting a really sketchy landing as well, so I kinda just had to live with it. Before this, I drove forwards a bit, bonked off the back wall, and landed on the back of the same log for a lowtrick, but that ended up losing about .3 or so to the newer strat.
Someone else could probably do this much better and save at least another .5, but I'm proud of how I did on it and I wouldn't take anything but the funny digits I got. At some point I'm going to work with some delayed lap count ideas I have, but there's a lot I have to work out at the moment so it'll be a bit before I know for sure.

Ive done it randomly with bowser bike using 200cc method
I did it randomly only 1 time
