    Abstract:
Using examples of rising tides in Karrabing country and melting glaciers in her ancestral lands in Carisolo Trentino, Povinelli asks what is at stake in developing a geontosemiotics which demonstrates how Nonlife is an interpretive agent in contemporary climate collapse and a semiotics after geontopower which focuses on the uneven sedimentations of the colonial invasions of the Atlantic and Pacific.
