I don't know if it was worth the effort considering you can get a Kobra 2 pro for 240 and they are quite good and fast. never the less great video keep it up

Thanks, mate! Of course is is not worth it, I just did it because I can and was interesting experiment. The inly way this would make sense is if you do some parts of the project or stretch it over time so you upgrade one axis at a time ;)

Pointless work. Replacing metal with plastic is a step back. Old rails are no worse. Direct drive is OK. Closed chamber means much more. And it is much easier to make.
