So nah manga version did him a lot of justice.
“King strongest attack” Broooo, King didn’t even used 50% of his power, 10% would be enough to beat Diamond S in second. He cancelled his Ultimate Hellfire Burst Wave Motion Cannon only because there was Garou, since he didn’t wanted to end manga this soon.
Still sadly, it hasn't gotten up to par with Dragon Ball Super, So we can't tell if Saitama is FOR REAL stronger than Goku or the destruction Gods. Hopefully with power scaling in Saitama's enemies we'll see him effortlessly defeat a monster with a similar power level to Goku.
Pre redraw, golden S would high diff beat Orochi or stalemate while Platinum S would mid diff Orochi but Orochi can regenerate. After the redraw Orochi grows to a Planetary level threat & his Gaia Canon stalemated Saitamas serious move so even Platinum S won't be able to defeat him, maybe he'll escape but he has nothing to affect redraw Orochi.
I think considering he has speed a level above flashy flash and attack power on par with god slayer fist garou (his power level gets a bit hard to determine as the arc gets to the end) he could 100% speedblitz orochi and have a good chance at causing some serious damage. I'd say he wins for sure if he knows about the regen core, because regardless of orochi's attack power being ridiculous he wouldn't be able to react
When Garou fought Orochi it has been stated by Gyoro-gyoro, that Orochi is a genius and he was able to imitate Bomb`s fist at a glance. And he was able to keep at bay Sage Centipede. I think Orochi isn`t the strongest dragon level, but had a potential to grow to a god level if not killed right away - so, could have Platinum killed him fast? - I don`t think so.
