I love how Morko's survival was hinted at after "the blue team had been completely wiped out" was mentioned, then it cut to a bird's-eye map view where we can see all the dead blue team members are in black and white while Marko's head icon still had it's color. Man this was so enjoyable. At first I hated the ZRA but then after they kept winning I was slowly won over. This was truly a bunch of psychos fighting each other.
I must say, civilization games seem a bit less fun when there is a small team of people who just grind for diamond gear and start killing everyone else before any real diplomacy or state-building can occur

Though I do think that while setting up this game they screwed up grouping so many good fighters in a single team.

One of the reasons I won't go and join these kinda games. I rarely play minecraft, so no where near any 'good' at fighting. Let alone against actual pvpers who know all the timing, the ways to crit, how long the shield guard lasts, and other info I have no idea about.
I was writing a list of my favourite characters, and one of them was Marko, I finded him so funny. When the ZRA "won" that ended was so unexpected. Marko & Mr. Scarecrow, hopefully they return in another video.

This feels like one of those series with deep political lore and in fighting. And the ZRA is the overarching antagonist. And then there is Marco he's just too busy living his life to notice what's going on and somehow finds a comedic way to defeat the main bad guys and save the day.

Who placed the tnt that time? The first time it was part of yellow team, and they blew themselves up with it right after, and even if they didn’t, they placed the tnt on the yellow team island, not the finale island, so who placed the second batch? maybe marko and the blue-green coalition, when they holed up in the capital city, marko certainly wouldn’t of had the resources to do it on his own.

There was so much civil war going on here. Every civilization video has anarchists and revolutionaries, but this time was extreme. Almost everybody who tried to take power by force killed a large chunk of their team, and this happened to all of them. So does this end with the lone crazy player rebuilding civilization with any other random survivors?

I think that Marco was quite literally the sole survivor, unless Marcusk can confirm otherwise
As the ZRA went to the throne room and claimed victory; they likely wouldn't do that unless there was such a small amount of survivors that even if 1 survivor died to kill 1 ZRA, there would still be ZRA members left. There where 4 members of ZRA, so I assume that there MIGHT have been at most 2 other survivors other then Marco.
But that requires MARCUSK himself to confirm.

Although I deeply loved this video, I found it difficult to follow which team you were talking about at different times. I think it might be helpful in the future if you ever do something like this again to put labels at the top of the screen for whichever team you're covering.

Here in particular, it didn't help that the teams all had the same environments, so you couldn't distinguish them by the setting they were initially in like in other cases.
Having Airokun in any team, any civilization, and in any chanel in yt, is a guaranteed victory, bro's a menace in pvp.

I really do think that the main downfall of all these minecraft civilization videos is the constant PvP among team members. One player is actually setting up something good in terms of team work and long lasting for the finale. Then some random schmuck decides "I will be the bad guy because then I get screen time and it would be funny to sabotage everything." Then the actual people setting the team up for success die. Then you have the players that murder half of their team or sabotage the entire thing not face any consequences except for now they have no allies and will most likely be picked off by a better group.
Implementing a system that has consequences for pker's would be an improvement or just remove team kills until the finale or something that way people are forced to actually work together and you don't get a chaotic finale where it might as well have just been a hunger games video.
While you have a point the bad guys also have to deal with most people turning against them
I agree. I've recently discovered these sorts of videos and have binging them, but they're getting really old really fast because of all the griefing/PvPing. Been hoping to find one that has actual systems in place to discourage trolling, but so far no good. I might be going from discovering, to liking, to disliking these sorts of videos in less than 72 hours, lol.

I was honestly rooting for the ZRA because 1, they were something different than other groups and 2, their beliefs that killing zombies is bad is both interesting and more sympathetic than anything any other teams did. The ZRA is JUSTICE!
I felt relieved after that explosion. Marko the legend avenged everyone in the server by only being a peaceful person defending his place.
It's interesting how smaller teams, who thus doesn't need as many diamonds etc. to get stacked and fully geared, are often the strongest.

It's really about logistics. Other team had more people than the ZRA so you need to feed and gear more people and it takes more time. With a group of 4 it's easy to get organized and go surprise attack.

i like how a member of the blue team says "ahh help!" and when he dies everyone is like: "oh cool he died" "free loot!" but when someone gets the loot and puts on the armour theyre like "we got you mate" lmao
The blue team was my favorite they worked together, saved that teammate and Adam avenged his team by killing the traitors. Then later they made peace with green team it was incredibly satisfying having Marco take the win after all the senseless killing and lack of mercy shown from the other teams 😄😄😄

@@maxe624 Yeah agreed. Although I have seen some CIV videos have some sort of "crime" system. So if you kill people senslessly you cant just walk around and blend in because you will be highlighted with a red name or something. That is at least a start.

@@maxe624 That's definitely the fatal flaw for these Minecraft challenges. Real life civilizations are formed upon necessities between people, there's the farmers, the miners, you can't do it all by yourself. You willingly participate in a civilization for the safety, capitol(money, food, etc), and shelter.
In minecraft there's no real consequences to your actions, you can kill and break apart civilizations because at the end of the day it's a block game. Roleplay and govern all you want, that's not going to stop joe-schmoe from deciding he and his buddies are too good for this and decide to kill your entire faction.
Not to mention how conflict and violence are typically the highlights of these challenges, further encouraging people to become the 'bad guy' for the sake of getting acknowledged in the video.

I think it would be very interesting to have only one team, but they are scattered across the land, and there are some VERY powerful enemies to counterbalance everyone working together. This would be similar to your 100 day zombie apocalypse series, but it’s a team event

I am soooo happy zombie activists all died at the end, there is some justice in the minecraft world, wonder how Marco and Mr Scarecrow ran their new world.
I can tell you. It turned out Mr scarecrow was actually a Ms scarecrow. So Marco and Ms Scarecrow repopulateed the work with scarecrow/human hybrids. Ms scarecrow dies 900 years after her 10,000 great x10 grand son is born. While Marco dies 60 years later when his great x15 grandson is born
I feel like you might want to decrease the amount of TNT on maps. Right now, it's barely used since most players don't know how to use redstone/other basic tools using tnt, but it could be extremely op in the hands of some others. Minecarts and cannons traps were hardly used, even though they can easily one-tap a large amount of players. Entire civilizations can be easily wiped out using just a couple tnt minecarts.
I mean true but at the same time we got that unexpectedly satisfying ending. Although it did look scripted. And by reading the comments it probably is.
