We can remember the names of carpel bones by a formula (3TSP of HCL) 3T= trapezium, trapezoid, triquetra S= scaphoid P= pisiform HCL H= hamate C= capitate L= lunate
This channel is saving my life by a thread. Haven’t been in school since 2017, trying to finish my nursing degree that I started 2012, life happens. Anyways, I took bio 201 this summer didn’t know it was gona be this hard and it’s accelerated 🫣plus I have my 4 kids home for summer vacation. 🤪🫠. This rusty brain 🧠is over extra hard but not too hard due to your videos. Thanks new sub here
I came here because I had forgotten my mnemonic. Some lovers try positions that they can't handle Scaphoid Lunate Triquetrium pisiform trapizium trapezoid capitate hamate In anatomical position, start laterally with proximal row, move medial across carpals once, then go medial across distal row. There's three bones that start with T. In my mnemonic "try" represents TRIquetrum, so that helps me remember that one. Trapizium almost kinda rhymes with thumb, so they are close. And Trapezoid is what's left.
I am so happy I just stumbled across your channel. I am in school to be a medical assistant and this channel is absolutely amazing. What a blessing you guys are for sharing your knowledge with us. I can’t thank you enough, you have made me understand things so much better than just my lectures in class and my material from class also.
