thank-you for posting this... He's one of the greats of today and destined to be the roots and tradition of tomorrow. I felt the spirit of Hank Sr. the first time I saw Justin play at the Exit Inn with the Swindlers
I see the Truckers talking about the guitars you built them all the time. Now that I'm going back through Justin Townes Earle clips since his passing I've noticed him playing this guitar a couple time.
I can see that comparison. Met him at an in store performance for Harlem River Blues. He was super kind. This has been a tough year all around. Like, damn...2020 has to end some time
@Gibby Wow...I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I can only imagine how hard it is to lose someone so close especially with the pandemic and social unrest. I hope you get thru it and remember the good times that y’all shared. 🙏🏻 May your friend RIP along with JTE.
I dont know the name of the song. I saw him play it the other night in Chicago, though. He said that he's got a whole other albums worth of material to put out but Bloodshot said that it wasn't a good idea from a business standpoint to put out two albums back to back like that. Lame.
Not !!!!! Justin's his own man !! Done things his way !!! J.T.E. ...Sad S.E. wasn't around to help raise this young man when jte was young ..but don't know if she's dad was around to raise him ...I think S.E. said his mom and granddad raised him ❤🙏
RIP Justin. This video introduced me to your music 11 years ago and it will be with me for the rest of my life.
Saaaame here.
What a great thumbpicker and songwriter
JTE.... the baddest thumb in town

Oddly enough I tried listening to them yesterday. Really good harmonies. I'll have to listen to more.
Heartwarming 💓💓
Excellent cinematography. Lovin some Justin.
Performance was on March 21, 2009 at SXSW Festival in Austin, TX

He was a modern day cross between Hank Sr. And Gram Parsons......RIP

JTE at the el rey in LA was great. if you got a chance to see him go go go
Good stuff!
Saw him in Denver last year with the Felice Brothers. Actually liked him better than the Felice Brothers.
Thank you god...
Usually their engineers are better but he's clipping converters hard in places. Love the tunes though.
Check out Chris Knight.. you might like him.
I always come back fort that first untitled track. I wonder if it is named & recorded yet. Such a classic.
"Boy Keep Movin'" or "Mama Said" He seems to play it live fairly often but it does not appear on any album.
@@paultholl6723 Thank you :)

What a shit take, his body of work was exceptional by his mid-20's. What have you done?
