Mike you absolutely destroyed that tire tunnel craw in the second event! You most definitely have it, GUTS!
“DO YOU HAVE IT?! GUTS!” A real mighty blast from the past. The good old days of classic Nickelodeon. I wish that they brought it back in a whole new way.
We need to bring this stuff back to prime time. I'm glad Legends is coming back.
Hate to dissapoint you but the Legends reboot is bad...if Guts does come back let's hope it's on Nickelodeon or anything but The CW.
and didn't Guts come back in 2008 with My Family's Got Guts?
If they do so help me God they better do it right. I don't want any politics involved like all the rest of the shows
Few years later Ty competed on Legends of the Hidden Temple in season 2 (Lucky Medallion of Atocha) as a member of the Orange Iguanas while he ran into Temple got the medallion and won for him and his partner Jennifer. It's a solo Temple.
Congratulations Mike, I am truly blessed to watch you on GUTS when I was a little boy!!!
I’d love to know how many in 3rd place after 4 events went on to win the Agro Crag, especially as far behind as she was. Well done Mike, and hat tip to her for that.
This was my absolute favorite show when I was a kid. I would go to bed and DREAM of being on this show! It looked like so much fun.
@@bezoticallyyours83 Mostly because you were a kid and didn't have to worry about Gladiators.
and competitive. Can't do that today in todays PC culture. Everyone gets a trophy lol
That is an awesome episode. Congratulations Mike. You did a fantastic job.
Love all these game shows, when I was a child! Good childhood memories! But, even back then I thought it was unfair to have boys against girls, and 14 yr olds against 11 yr olds! At those ages, even a yr older is a huge difference! But, congrats to all the contestants! Especially, Mike! Thanks for sharing this video with us! Wish they would bring back all these shows, the same exact way they had them!
Lol that boogie board segment was hilarious with how much they were lifting the kids up with the harness.
a huge chunk of my childhood was spent watching Nickelodeon, the game shows especially were amazing. Nick Arcade, Guts, Double Dare, & Legends Of The Hidden Temple were my top favorites. it would be awesome to see these game shows get released on Blu-Ray since these are so much fun to watch now a days, which is a great way for relive our 90's nostalgia. ^-^
This fall will be GUTS's 30th anniversary
I always liked how they went into the water with their shoes and socks on
Nickelodeon Guts is now reaired on occasionally on TeenNick's on NickRewind.
I call this episode, "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Training Day."
Congratulations Mike! You did a fantastic job in Guts! You totally got guts man! 😄
Of course. He had to "have it" to even be on the show, let alone have a chance to win a piece of that radical rock.
congrats to you Mike, that was impressive.
That’s so cool that you were a contestant. Since I have a traumatic brain injury from birth, I always used to dream about being a part of a Nickelodeon Game Show. If I had a make a wish, it would have been to get slimed by Robin Marella.
You can tell that they were rushed for time as the medal ceremony was a bit rushed
This show was great!
Mike O'Malley's references are amazing.
Great job Mike! One minor thing, the episode number is S2xE9
Mike the "Magnificent Reception" Mitchell 🤣
man, you was one tough cookie in this, well done
It always seemed like the lightest kids got screwed by the harnesses.
I’m seeing two players one blue and one red and I’m seeing stunt spotters are wearing Reebok Blacktop pumps that is cool
Do you still have the piece of that glowing rock?
Quick start ( off the block and up the cargo net)
Speed
Agility/balance
At 1993's extreme arena home of Nickelodeon GUTS, on its 4th sporting event called "Eat My Dust", after red player Ty "Mouth Of The South" Mathen false-started & was brought back to start again on time, apparently, his never false-starting again was because seriously, he, Ty overheard this host Mike O'Malley reply: "Alright, there was a false-start on that one; we're going to bring Ty back. Let's just check with 'Mo' on the ruling on that one; Mo, what was the ruling on that?"
Referee Moira Quirk answered him: "That was a false-start; we'll start again. Our players have 1 false-start; & then, if they do it again, it's an immediate 3rd place."
Lowly, O'Malley responded: "Alright, thank you." Then to him or that spotter, Mo answered: "No pressure."
Then after as always, Mo announced: "on your mark, get set!" then blew her go whistle, Ty Mathen rode that bike throughout that red track[without false-starting] & [for now] got 1st place(which ruined that "perfect score" that you, the blue player Mike "The Magnificent" Mitchell [a.k.a. "Overhead Films" here & whose real 1st name's "Michael"] had throughout your 1st 3 events)!😃
Ty would later appear on another Nickelodeon game show and he was an orange iguana on Legends of the Hidden Temple.
Leg power
Good aim
Quick return
Sweet job, Mike
Interesting Nickelodeon game show.
Mike seems untouchable
They should bring Guts Reboot in to prime time for adults
I never liked this second rendition of the Aggro Crag because of the flag lights at the top. It's only 1 for first place, and 3 for third place. That makes no sense.
Question for Mike what did it feel like when you went into the water wearing your shoes 👟 and socks 🧦.
never see that coming
Dang. Was Ty related to someone high up at Nickelodeon or something? Man was getting interviewed after each event win or lose -I don't think anyone else had as much airtime this episode.
He did compete in another nickelodeon game show: Legends of the Hidden Temple. He did actually win!
Thanks Mike the magnificent lol
Moira Quirk was so fine.
Air Date 1993
Edit Date 6/28/2010
This was season 2 not 3. Sesson 3 was a different intro.

Nickelodeon Guts Season 1 Full episodes
BUT DO YOU still have the agro crag trophy?? Im going to try and make one myself some pics and measurements would be appreciated. :) or do they even let you take one home?
The winner didn’t actually receive the trophy we saw on camera-they were given a smaller replica of it.
I believe you sold you aggro rock… when can we buy the medal? 😁
Please bring Guys back
Please bring Guys back
You still have the crag?
cool
Do you still have the medal and the crag trophy?
I always wondered if you were able to keep that piece of the agro crag or was it just for TV?
Nice.
Wasn’t Ty also on legends of the hidden temple?
The Lucky Medallion of Atocha. The Orange Iguanas were lucky in that temple run; it nearly ended in disaster.
This Was Actuality Taped in March/April 1993.
Edit, just looked it up. It's production #2-09, air date:
August 20, 1993. Second season.
You still have the aggro crag?
Do you have it? I sure do
Mike was alil bigger and older
boogie woogie is a disaster
Bro, have you seen Jomboy watching the guts reruns? They are always trying to reach out to former players.
Bro, you still got that Aggro Crag piece?
Do you still have the radical rock?
They need a new host and a referee
Reebok Blacktop you come strong or don’t come at all
they interview way too much in this episode mike and jennifer should have gotten more interview time hell jennifer didnt even get interviewed at all it almost seems like ty was the winner because of that
It seems that Ty's dad worked at Universal Studios, so he got preferential treatment, it would seem.
i am subscribed is that a bad thing??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Do you still have the trophy?
My high school science teacher won this show and he still had the trophy and he brought it in for us to take pictures with at the end of the school year.
@@thelisarahman You are SO lucky to have seen that trophy for real.

Nickelodeon Guts Season 2 Full Episodes
I think it was every '90s kid's dream to be on this show. I vividly remember watching this show on Saturday afternoons.
4 Real the good old days I miss the 90s.
Dude, I swear when I hit 40 I suddenly had this need to re experience all of these staples of my childhood. It’s a safe place that sadly, will never exist again. But the memories of it are so beautiful. Just hearing the GUTS theme, I instinctively started singing along. Watching this, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and the bits of SNICK i can find has Jogged so many memories of a much simpler time in life when years seemed to stand still…
