Pornography is what I currently struggle with. I have for years, but 2 weeks ago, I felt a calling and am trying to give my life to God. These past two weeks have been extremely challenging, because the further I grow in my faith, the stronger and louder the temptation is. I have prayed for forgiveness every day, but fall once again the next day. I pray that the Lord wins in this battle inside me and that I can break free of the enemy’s hold.
You are not alone brother, I've also struggled with pornography for many years now, and the longest I managed to last was just 1 week before I relapse, I'm ashamed of myself... I'm a loser, I want to change but it's so difficult especially when you haven't done the deed in a long time you feel your heart starts beating faster, you breathe faster, your mind starts to think about pornography, and you see your phone... And then you relapse again. I really want to change. I want to give my life to God, I want to make him proud.

Same here, started when i was a pre-teen and struggled with it all the way to adulthood. One of the things that help me the most is whenver you fail, don't focus on the sin, instead on the confession and the immense gift Jesus' forgiveness is: 1 John 1:9 NIV [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Having a person to keep me accountable is really helpful to swallow my pride and humble myself and recognize only with God I can be delivered. Then, I also love this psalm about the beauty we can find in God's love and forgiveness: Psalms 32:1-11 NIV [1] Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. [2] Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. [3] When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. [4] For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. [5] Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. The devil is smart lol. He's the wise age old serpent. He knows what God wants for you and he wants to truncate it by weakening your faith by making you fall into sin and away from God. But the bible says that he who suffers is done with sin. Resisting the temptation to do evil is suffering
I have been stuck in this cycle of laziness (not cleaning my cat's litter box, not washing my dishes, not doing my hygiene, ect) and gluttony (eating and drinking tea (a LOT of sweet tea)) out of boredom. I’ve been struggling with lust for years. I’m 24 years old and I feel like I’ve lost the will to live. I just wanna live a life that honors God but I feel like no matter what I do I always fall short and mess up at every opportunity. I know God has forgiven me of my sins but I guess what I’m trying to say is I don’t know how to forgive myself. I know I’m not perfect but people taught me that I should strive to be. I feel your pain man. I struggle with lust too. I’m in highschool and it’s a struggle. I’m only 5ish months into my walk with God and I’ll be able to get past it, and then I give in. You’re not alone and there are many others who feel your pain. I’d suggest talking with another guy to keep you accountable and to check in with you to go over your wins and loses. Also, don’t be so hard on yourself. I struggle with not forgiving myself and holding myself to an impossible standard. I’m working on reversing that and realizing that God wants me. He doesn’t want a perfect me, or a non-sinning me, or a me who has it all figured out. He wants to fix this mess of a person I am into something beautiful that I can’t even imagine. I may not see those results in a week, month, year, or decade. Overall you just have to show up everyday and decide to follow God no matter what. It may be painful, uncomfortable (which is good), and discouraging. Even if you stumble God will hold you. Psalm 91 is a good psalm for this! God bless

It's alright, many of us struggle with lust and porn addictions, but I know we all can still live godly lives. Because we all are still loved by Jesus. I think that should be something we remember in our hearts to help us through the hard times, as well as our Bible verses to help us battle the temptations when they come and try to make us falter. ❤🙏🏿

This video is absolutely incredible. I have been struggling with sexual sin for the past 6 years. Mainly because of a lack of finding a woman but I know he will lead me to the right person in the end. It’s these videos and the good book that still give me hope and faith in everyday of my life. This was so powerful!! I've been dealing with nicotine addiction lately and it has so much control over my body to the point where I can't even control it. I've been trying to let it go, but is a hard battle. Now I love God, I was born and raised in church, but the devil has made me look away from God, making me do things that just makes me feel horrible. God knows my heart, and he knows I want to serve him more than anything in my life. The first part was truly relatable, I even admit to myself and ask myself what can I do when I'm stuck in the cycle of failure? I always knew it was wrong and wanted to battle it. When you said that Satan catches us at our weakest, it is so true. It's like after being sober for many months and it's only THEN that he comes and get you. It truly is wicked and evil. But after this video, I really know and trust that I can weaponise this cycle of victory to love myself, others, and God.

I’ve been struggling with a temptation recently in life and I keep praying to God and keep falling to that same temptation. I have never seen this guys videos before but this video has popped up in my home page front and center 4 times in one week. There’s no denying God wants me to see this because I never have videos resuggested to me after passing them but this one has popped up over and over without me even looking at this guys channel. Isn’t it great to have such a loving and persistent Father, one that is trying to get me back on track after falling into this pattern of sin, even though I keep failing Him. I have been struggling with temptations and lusts for many years. (I’m 17 lol). These lists and temptations have ruined friendships, and even my last relationship. I was doing well with fighting it, but, like he said in the video, the devil struck at my weakest moment(s). The last few weeks have been really hard with my recent break up and I’ve been failing at fighting my temptations, but earlier today, in another moment of weakness, I cried out to the lord in one of the longest prayers I’ve ever prayed. I asked for guidance, and for him to be a light unto my path. It was no coincidence that this video popped up for me. It was an answer to prayer 🙌🏻

Ive found it helps to give praise and worship to God during your temptation. You stop thinking about the thing and focus on God instead. Satan cant handle that.

This is such a great example of something that seems so obvious once it is contextualized so well. As a believer who has read the Bible in it's entirety, I am as guilty as you can be of completing a yearly Bible just to feel like a good Christian for having done it. I think I was given this message today as an answer to many prayers. I prayed that God could show me how to overcome temptation. This reignited my passion to be better, I tried to fight it myself and lost every single time.
I needed this video because recently I repeated the same sin (I gossiped out of anger, like „Do you know what she just did to me“) and I also was really rude because I wanted to defend myself and I did everything wrong because I was so furious. And I have to calm down and think how would Jesus respond right now but to think that I need to be calm but I get so aggressive really quick. And after that I‘m depressed because I sinned again. And the next day I found myself in the same situation and I did the same mistake again. Sometimes I nearly don‘t dare to ask God for forgiveness because I even need time to really feel guilty and as long as I don‘t feel it, I don‘t ask for forgiveness. And yet God makes all my prayers come true even tough I fail him every day ❣️And I‘m thankful for his love and also for the people that remind me that he loves me, people like you who posts this video ❤❤❤❤

The constant battle. We will stumble and fall we are hypocrites to say we won't. But the difference with children of God saved through the blood of Jesus on the cross is that when we fall we repent and we seek the father. There will be many times we ask for forgiveness if we form bad habits and temptation takes us over. By your logic that means an addict can't be saved because if they fall back in sin then they are too far gone and God can no longer save them , when in truth God sees us in our struggles and wants us to rely on him. You translated that verse wrong completely. It says "no one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God." A "practice" that doesn't mean it will never happen again or we will do it. And that also doesn't mean we are no longer saved if we sin.... We seek forgiveness. Please be careful how you translate.
It's no coincidence this video popped up on my youtube. I got sick right after feeling the closest ever to God in my life, like 1 day after a camp, thoughts of condemnation came into my head everyday making me feel unworthy in many ways, I can feel the enemy trying to bring me down again. Seeing this video reminded me of something really important in our journey with Jesus, it is to depend on him everyday! To have a friendship with Him and rely on him on everything. Father I pray that whoever's praying this prayer, lord give this person strength, may your spirit fill us up with love and light us up from the inside out. Pornography is what I currently struggle with. I have for years, but 2 weeks ago, I felt a calling and am trying to give my life to God. These past two weeks have been extremely challenging, because the further I grow in my faith, the stronger and louder the temptation is. I have prayed for forgiveness every day, but fall once again the next day. I pray that the Lord wins in this battle inside me and that I can break free of the enemy’s hold.
You are not alone brother, I've also struggled with pornography for many years now, and the longest I managed to last was just 1 week before I relapse, I'm ashamed of myself... I'm a loser, I want to change but it's so difficult especially when you haven't done the deed in a long time you feel your heart starts beating faster, you breathe faster, your mind starts to think about pornography, and you see your phone... And then you relapse again. I really want to change. I want to give my life to God, I want to make him proud.

Same here, started when i was a pre-teen and struggled with it all the way to adulthood.
One of the things that help me the most is whenver you fail, don't focus on the sin, instead on the confession and the immense gift Jesus' forgiveness is:
1 John 1:9 NIV
[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Having a person to keep me accountable is really helpful to swallow my pride and humble myself and recognize only with God I can be delivered.
Then, I also love this psalm about the beauty we can find in God's love and forgiveness:

I’ve been struggling with lust for years. I’m 24 years old and I feel like I’ve lost the will to live. I just wanna live a life that honors God but I feel like no matter what I do I always fall short and mess up at every opportunity. I feel your pain man. I struggle with lust too. I’m in highschool and it’s a struggle. I’m only 5ish months into my walk with God and I’ll be able to get past it, and then I give in. You’re not alone and there are many others who feel your pain. I’d suggest talking with another guy to keep you accountable and to check in with you to go over your wins and loses. Also, don’t be so hard on yourself. I struggle with not forgiving myself and holding myself to an impossible standard. I’m working on reversing that and realizing that God wants me. He doesn’t want a perfect me, or a non-sinning me, or a me who has it all figured out. He wants to fix this mess of a person I am into something beautiful that I can’t even imagine. I may not see those results in a week, month, year, or decade. Overall you just have to show up everyday and decide to follow God no matter what. It may be painful, uncomfortable (which is good), and discouraging. Even if you stumble God will hold you. Psalm 91 is a good psalm for this! God bless

This was so powerful!! I've been dealing with nicotine addiction lately and it has so much control over my body to the point where I can't even control it. I've been trying to let it go, but is a hard battle. Now I love God, I was born and raised in church, but the devil has made me look away from God, making me do things that just makes me feel horrible. God knows my heart, and he knows I want to serve him more than anything in my life. The first part was truly relatable, I even admit to myself and ask myself what can I do when I'm stuck in the cycle of failure? I always knew it was wrong and wanted to battle it. When you said that Satan catches us at our weakest, it is so true. It's like after being sober for many months and it's only THEN that he comes and get you. It truly is wicked and evil. But after this video, I really know and trust that I can weaponise this cycle of victory to love myself, others, and God.
I am working on rebuilding my relationship with God. Lust being my main struggle. Attached to a person I used to see before I decided to work on my addiction and depression. It is no mistake that this video found me several times.

I’ve been struggling with a temptation recently in life and I keep praying to God and keep falling to that same temptation. I have never seen this guys videos before but this video has popped up in my home page front and center 4 times in one week. I have been struggling with temptations and lusts for many years. (I’m 17 lol). These lists and temptations have ruined friendships, and even my last relationship. I was doing well with fighting it, but, like he said in the video, the devil struck at my weakest moment(s). The last few weeks have been really hard with my recent break up and I’ve been failing at fighting my temptations, but earlier today, in another moment of weakness, I cried out to the lord in one of the longest prayers I’ve ever prayed. This is such a great example of something that seems so obvious once it is contextualized so well. As a believer who has read the Bible in it's entirety, I am as guilty as you can be of completing a yearly Bible just to feel like a good Christian for having done it. I was raised in a christian family but never really felt close to God although i believed in him. I always thought that reading the Bible and going to church was boring. After some events in my life i started to ask God why these things were happening in my family and pushed away from him. Now as an adult, I see that life without him isn't better. I have been struggling with anxiety and temptations and Ive been trying to build a relationship with him. There are so many temptations around me that are making it hard. I think I was given this message today as an answer to many prayers.
I prayed that God could show me how to overcome temptation. This reignited my passion to be better, I tried to fight it myself and lost every single time.
I needed this video because recently I repeated the same sin (I gossiped out of anger, like „Do you know what she just did to me“) and I also was really rude because I wanted to defend myself and I did everything wrong because I was so furious. And I have to calm down and think how would Jesus respond right now but to think that I need to be calm but I get so aggressive really quick. And after that I‘m depressed because I sinned again. And the next day I found myself in the same situation and I did the same mistake again. Sometimes I nearly don‘t dare to ask God for forgiveness because I even need time to really feel guilty and as long as I don‘t feel it, I don‘t ask for forgiveness. And yet God makes all my prayers come true even tough I fail him every day ❣️And I‘m thankful for his love and also for the people that remind me that he loves me, people like you who posts this video ❤❤❤❤

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic Powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
The constant battle.
We will stumble and fall we are hypocrites to say we won't.
But the difference with children of God saved through the blood of Jesus on the cross is that when we fall we repent and we seek the father.
There will be many times we ask for forgiveness if we form bad habits and temptation takes us over.
By your logic that means an addict can't be saved because if they fall back in sin then they are too far gone and God can no longer save them , when in truth God sees us in our struggles and wants us to rely on him.
You translated that verse wrong completely.
It says "no one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God." A "practice" that doesn't mean it will never happen again or we will do it. And that also doesn't mean we are no longer saved if we sin.... We seek forgiveness.
Please be careful how you translate.

It's no coincidence this video popped up on my youtube. I got sick right after feeling the closest ever to God in my life, like 1 day after a camp, thoughts of condemnation came into my head everyday making me feel unworthy in many ways, I can feel the enemy trying to bring me down again. Seeing this video reminded me of something really important in our journey with Jesus, it is to depend on him everyday! To have a friendship with Him and rely on him on everything.
Father I pray that whoever's praying this prayer, lord give this person strength, may your spirit fill us up with love and light us up from the inside out.
