I don't know what you thought was gonna happen but its been know from the beginning that these cheap axles are only good if you swap in name brand internals. And as you found out not even then.
They broke before swapping in better parts not after. And I was thinking this is a spare parts build and I don't want to spend a bunch of money on it. And, even after swapping in better parts, I'm still under the cost of a real Traxxas axles. Which has allowed me to drive this Defender quite a bit.

So some overdrive gear from online shop works for that injora axle? If soni might get one!
Everything that fits a TRX4 axle fits these.

Imo just not worth the potential short term savings. Ends up costing more in genuine replacements.
