Room feeling a little empty after spring cleaning? Add a personalized touch with these 3D Map Letters made from cardboard!
P.S. If you're doing a letter with a rounded base like "O" or "U", then you should choose a font where these letters have a flat base. If not, you can also just lean it against something or hang it on your wall! (:
Measurements:
Font: Cambria
Size: 800 Bold
Margins:
Top: 0.3cm Bottom: 1.27cm
Left: 0.64cm Right: 1.27cm
Print the outline to save ink!

Wow that looks great and somewhat easy to do! Thanks for the Vid! If people want to find specific maps that they want and don't want to spend the $$$ they could also find a vast range of vintage maps online from Library of Congress and or the Wiki Commons and print them off Via a printer... although that might eat up ALOT of ink... but I'm sure printing off an image from a print shop wouldn't cost that much if you were doing larger projects.

How do you make it print just the outline?
If you're using Microsoft Word then highlight the letter and go to Text Effects (the little glowing "A" around the top left) > Outline > Weight > More lines > Text Outline: Solid Line > Text Fill: No Fill

it was an old map I found laying around. they sell maps at gas stations though
