Thanks doctor, great lecture. But I reckon you forgot to post the linkfor the UA video in the description, as you said during the lecture. Keep them coming, my intern rotations will start in january 2018 and your channel is really helping me to prepare myself
Thank you for the concise and clear explanation. However, I think it would have been perhaps better to also touch on investigations for glomerulopathies that can present with acute renal dysfunction (e.g. RPGN). I think very often autoimmune/vasculitic screens are included as part of the workup.
Please do you have any explanation as to why urine osmolality and urine sodium concentration is "useless" in diagnosing or differentiating AKI types or etiologies?
I'm not sure. I really would like to fulfill the common request of abdominal X-rays, but local curricular needs here at Stanford might supersede that with some interesting but atypical for this channel. I've also had a few recent requests for more EKG videos. And was also considering a quick informal talk on what it means to be a hospitalist.
Your channel is the 1st I'm ever subscribing to here...the best thing that ever happened to me since rice and chicken! Thank you Prof
MS2 in the UK and this video cleared up a couple of wee things for me that I couldn't quite grasp. Thanks so much for putting the time into this :)
You are the god of simplifying things!
i want to applaud you for coming up with this flow chart. it couldn't be more comprehensible than this
