I have the big horn 3 with the vestibule, and I love winter camping. Yes it is a bit of a pain setting it up but well worth it. The other day I was thinking if a person was to stay in one spot for 14 days like we are able to here in Alberta it might work to have another vestibule on the other end. Yes no access from the inside but you could store a lot of wood or a quad etc. Just a thought.

Black walnut wood. I smoked a turkey and a tri tip roast once with black walnut and finished it with hickory. Delicious flavor. Can't beat hardwood for smoking meat. Honest to God Brian, I have watched you for a long time and I have watched you experience a lot of snowiostorms. Every time you experience a snowstorm, throughout the night time hours, you wake up in the morning, look at the accumulation of snow as you I exit the tent and invariably you express how excited you are to see such a large accumulation of snow. Never an accumulation of more than 2 - 3 inches. I am sure, living where you live, .you must have awoken to more than a few inches of snow before. It has really gotten to be laughable. I hope I have not angered you in anyway, because I really do enjoy your videos very, very much. As I said, I have watched and enjoyed your videos for a long time. I am glad to hear that Sierra is doing well. She is an adorable dog and I enjoy watching her antics. i think i"d find a way to leave the top of the door open to allow warm air in to the extension to prevent that heavy snow building up on the top and causing damage..especially at night...peace

Half is my kitchen and living room, the other half is my Bedroom and office...I wouldn't mind a tent to camp out but I'm afraid of bears... I drive my a 750 Chevy double size truck with awesome 4x4... I carry a generator for lights... It's an awesome time being alone... I'm going camping this winter,. Hope to see you around.

Love your setup but as far as your stove goes, lower or cut the legs on the stove and surround it with stones to maintain thermal energy. So with out a fire heat will continue to radiate. Keep the videos coming.
Brian I think its cool you eat off your Grandpas plate from the depression. My people survived the Depression in Okla. also. We came out here a couple years back from Okla. I have my Papaws ring, knife, and hairbrush which I use everyday. Your videos are great I lived like that for years in a small cabin. Take care. Greg.
