You don’t mention the digestive issues of fish meal or higher protein baits in the colder water months. Carp are cold bloodied and therefore cannot digest high protein foods and this can cause major issues and even death. I’ve been carp fishing for 30+ years and keep koi carp for just as long so people need to be aware and responsible to not just catch carp but make sure that can digest what they are being fed
