In my opinion, everyone usually decides what to eat a few hours before mealtime. So, asking someone to decide their food a day in advance and place an order on your website might be a bit difficult. To explain clearly, let me give some examples. Take a job holder, for instance-they work hard throughout the day and, when they come home, all they want to do is take some rest and enjoy their evening. They are unlikely to think about what they should eat the next day. The same applies to students as well. Everyone prefers instant orders-they decide what to eat and expect to get it right away. So, please think about this.
Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with me. Here is what I think. A startup becomes successful when it solves a meaningful problem to the customer. They stick with me if 1. We are able to save them money. 2. Or save them time. We did both when we offered transparent offline and online menu pricing with Free home delivery above ₹300 by default on Foodbind.com Foodbind in 2018-19 in Davangere was the only Food Delivery Aggregator. We served food just like the duopoly now, from 46 restaurants. In 2019 ZOMATO and Swiggy also entered our market. Their Customer Acquisition Cost was and is still too high for us to compete and still be profitable. So we have pivoted our Startup Concept. The concept is Delivering Food Daily, not once or thrice a month. Talking to my Customers I realised how expensive the food costs from restaurants have become online. I live in a place where it’s actually called Education City. Students from all over the state come here to study. For them, for the need of having good food thrice a day has become a challenge for the students as well as their parents. In order to solve this very problem, and keeping in mind to save them money to invest in themselves. We have come up with a pricing of ₹150 flat price for getting healthy, tasty and hygienically prepared South Indian food to their location everyday. Food is a need and not a luxury according to me. It’s called Foodbind Fresh Subscription with minimum 7 days to try out our food. This service is not yet available in Davangere. So we are keen on introducing it again. I’m keen on serving foodbind customers something to rely on, on a daily basis. We are only after fixing Customer Experience 🙂🤙🏻
What you said is correct. When we are building a business, marketing plays a key role, and we must satisfy our customers. Go into the public, take reviews, and post on social media. Don't stick to your town; spread across the state. Take feedback from people and implement it in your business-it will help you grow. I have also started my entrepreneurial journey. I think this approach will help you develop good marketing strategies. Wishing you all the best for the future! Let’s catch up sometime to discuss business. Let me know if you’d like any further refinements!@@sachinrudramuni
Call came. Next time I’ll put my phone in an airplane mode then hit record. And sorry for repeatedly using basically word often. I guess it’s my filler word. I’ll consciously not use the word next time. Promise.
