A springlike day at the end of winter revisiting the two Munros above Bridge of Orchy in the Southern Highlands, Scotland. Twenty four years since my last visit to climb Beinn Dorain and Beinn an Dothaidh it was time to visit the summits on a beautiful late winter day in February 2023. These two popular Munros are climbed together on a day hike from Bridge of Orchy next to the A82.

Thanks for watching Kev. It's definitely worth waiting for a good day, ideally when path dry or frozen as that 1st part into the corrie could be a bogfest! Beinn an Dothaidh would be good spot for wildcamp. ATB Derek

Cracking Day Derek and plenty of mountains on view there! It's hard to believe that this is February! As you were spinning the camera around there was hardly any snow anywhere! Enjoyed that mate! Paul

Thanks for watching Paul. Yes, it was a cracking day with great visibility. The snow doesn't seem to last long these days even at 3000 ft. I noticed when out and about today for work some snow was still clinging onto the southern slopes of Ben Lomond after Saturdays fall, but will be washed away this week. ATB Derek
