Man, I just couldn’t do it like that. You’ve got all the parts to make it right, take the time. I’d rather change a complete quarter and weld up the drill holes, then weld across the panel like that..

Hey, we all make mistakes. I would fill it and leave it. It's absolutely fine! Top tip: where possible when butt welding flat panels together leave an overlap, fit the new section overlapping the remaining original part, and then cut through both panels together at a 45 degree angle. This will close the panels together perfectly in a 45 degree butted join.

Over here in the UK these types of repair are called "cut n shuts" and they are illegal simply beacause they are unsafe, Having said that I guess you guys are not hiding anything and whoever might buy this car can watch the videos to decide if they want to or not.

I would always replace the entire rear panel. It's more work, but putting it all together with bondo also takes a lot of time.
This is a car that still has a good trade value, so I would put more time into it and repair it to OEM standards.
Other than that you have a great channel and I always enjoy your exotic purchases and repairs.
Keep going with it.
This is good 👍 just little body filler apply and its straight like arrow 🏹
It's a salvage title car. I personally would have done the whole quarter replacement but what you have will be good enough. My eyes aren't that good but when you started the cut I said to myself , that looks too short LOL.
Do the right thing 🤔
Hey man Dont worry about the centre peice you put in shit happens but your repairs a gaps look good when it's all finished you won't even see the extra fill in peice it will be right yes I know what I'm talking abouts I used to do all of them accident repairs stuff when I was a young guy cheers man love your show keep going you'll get there
Not trying to knock your work everybody has their own style but you guys had every part to replace every damaged piece on that car but you did shortcuts you guys can do better work than that keep putting out the content and keep being you
Looks awesome
How much grinding can a body take. More holes than Bonnie and Clyde’s car. Strip it off and do it correctly.
That happened !
No one is failure free.
Like in the Bible that one is failure free throw the first stone.
Try to stabilis with Zink this way i learned it from my Master in Reconstruktion .
That you don't need the bondow .
The rest you make so good work.
Don't waist money time and materiel .
Greetings from Germany
Great Vlog ............ Bless
If i had done that my Boss and my work mates would have shown me the front Gate lol, But seeing its your shop its up to you if you fixit or not ,Me i would not even ask i would have a 1/4 panel on order and i would also fix the inner Panel that you kind of hit into some kind of shape. Think this is the first time i have said anything about your Repairs as well.
Knowing me, I would fix it , cause leaving it would drive me crazy every time I looked at it to the point where I would rip it all apart and do it all over again
Why don't you guys get a SPOT WELD DRILL KIT? It would be much better then what your are doing with a regular drill. Less the $25.
Also, with all the ose air tools you have you need a air chisel with some nice long shaft chisels bits.
Love your content!
You only a human being we all make mistake it will look better at the end day ☺️
