In his scene with Ping, I asked him to hold back too. He was on the verge each time. I didnt want people to see it as too melodramatic. What he showed was enough. Gibbs Cadiz of the inquirer cited this scene as "just right."

I regret not having the pleasure of viewing the movie since I was then out of the country.More so since I have been and still am a big fan of The Dawn. And when some friends of mine got a chance to watch it at UP I think,it was according to them by far one of the finest piece of film work they have seen. And considering that they are not really into The Dawn's music genre only reaffirms the fact that it indeed is an excellent film! Kudos to you Mr. Sandejas!
