Hi @Ricado Gardener, so glad to find this. I was given a second hand Galaxy 8 Note tablet by a friend . I have never had a Tablet before and there were no instructions with it. Thanks to your video I did manage to make something happen and think it is trying to do a reset. There are lots of lines of red and yellow writing and, at the moment, a blue bar saying "Apply update from ADB" However, the screen is now flickering like crazy and many of the red lines say something like "Failed to mount/cache...." so I don't think it's going to work. Help!!!
My daughter pbs still isnt working ..when the menue for the reset pops up what do i press. Do I press recover or reset. I get to the reset screen but it does nothing after that

elsie gray you have a battery issue. Remove the back cover and unplug the battery. Leave it unplugged for a minute or so and then plug it back in. If this doesn't work then your battery needs to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Holding volume up AND down at the same time worked for my Asus pad. This video was very helpful and got me to where I needed to be.

What to do when volume buttons are not working

the recovery command thingy worked and I clicked reboot now but its now working I have it charging btw, was that the problem?
