Michael is cute. Welcome Michael! Yes this has happened to me. Ashton Drake was actually the first place I tried to order my reborn from. However, it took so long that I had forgotten and when I remembered I reached out to them. It took months to receive like your precious Michael.

The reason the box I think looks like that is most likely it came back to them returned by someone else because his face was not even covered. The flaps of the box do not come apart like that unless someone already opened it. Good thing is he looks great and a cute baby. I have only 1 Ashton Drake baby it was used but came like yours did. He is Little Fishes or Fishies. Has Red hair and really cute. I will not be getting anymore of their dolls as I took a couple apart and what they ask for these babies the stuffing is low quality. This is my experience and do not mean to be negative but I would think after all these years they would upgrade these dolls. I really think the older ones were done much nicer. Any ways he is a cutie and I hope you enjoy. Dolly hugs Karen
Thank you Karen for taking the time to tell me about your experiences with Ashton Drake. I do feel fortunate the baby is okay, and didn't get damaged. He is really cute too. I have one other Ashton Drake, it's Charlie. He is an older addition, and is made very well.
I intend to reweight Sawyer, and put good polifill in him.
