- Today, the symbol of the SS represents terror and the murder of millions. The Nazis declared the runes to be humanity’s original Germanic script. But did it escape their notice that it was originally of Semitic origin? This documentary tells the gripping story of the now infamous symbol, from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Those runes are Viking symbols they did not come from the Middle East. Why do u think they wanted to return to paganism? That’s bc it’s the true religion of Germanic people and not a Jewish religion such as Christianity
a romanian oli-go-fren has read meinkampf and it affected his underdeveloped brains...
Amen
Makes sense
True germanic pagan tradition: converting to Christianity
Sometimes I have to wonder how many scholars have ever looked up the word Semitic in the dictionary
So do we like the Europe we now have ? I am from Britain and I hate what my nation has become, am in no way a promoter of what the nazis done but if they went about things slightly different I think I would of rather them have won the second world war , the is nothing to be proud about anymore of the likes of Germany Britain and France
We all are week both military and week with political correctness, all am hearing now is (Morocco a Muslim African nation has got to World Cup semi final)
Imagine people saying France England or Germany a Christian nation has got to semi final
It would never happen. What I am trying to say is our beliefs have had to be bottled , can’t even have a nativity play in schools no more.
I think some will get my point
you should watch David cole's Auschwitz documentary, it was an eye opener for me.
This documentary is an extremely one sided attempt to discredit the Germans and make them somehow Semitic
Europa the last battle
You're apparently "week" in your command of the English language.
You have to seek mental help.
One group called “the chosen” is mad at another for calling themselves “the master race” 😂
This
Being Chosen doesn’t mean the same as being the master race. They are chosen to be priestly people to serve as an example on this earth. They are not better in any or all regards, they are chosen for one reason, that is all. Every race and nation has it’s strengths and weaknesses and always the potential to offer something to this world.
The Jew is not better than the gentile, just different.
"Mad at" because they were brutally murdered in the millions. Get a clue.
absolutely
Different?@@gordianknot6867
2:25, I hate so much the genocidal tone these documentaries take, like “delusions of race and native soil” is because it is just that, and no delusion! The only reason for saying “delusional” is for their will to eradicate that people that has their origins, heartland, and national center right there. Truly despicable. All these sorts of documentaries are made by some bitter enemies of that people. It's so obvious for how badly they clearly want to see them dead and gone, and hate everything that propagate for giving them means for ensuring their continued existence. It's so ugly what they are doing.
Small reminder that the symbol of the most murderers political system in the world, the hammer and sickle, are still allowed.
I love how you set up the emotional theme before you present your argument.
You just have to tell how people to feel or they might think for themselves.
Pathetic cowards.
@RationalFolkism you think musical manipulation is necessary to find Nazism repugnant? Seems you're the problem here, not the documentary...
Germany needs freedom of speech.
You're free to say whatever you want. That freedom is also open to freedom to accept the consequences of what you say. Go on with your hate-speech.
@@abraxasjinx5207If you're imprisoned for speech, you're not free to say whatever you want.
Twit.
Apparently being a Nazi historian and needing a haircut go hand in hand.

Steve Taylor provided the familiar voice for the narration. Copyrighted in 2016. Absolutely amazing that they could turn even this obscure subject into an almost one hour-long program.
and the opposite is when I produced and sold the first ever t-shirt that in letters said 'I Love New York', and the NY Dept of Commerce asked Milton Glaser to turn the phrase into a logo which he did, and in about a minute he came up with the familiar "I Heart NY" that you have all seen---great doc by the way
Descendants of Abraham? Lmao tell me you know nothing about Canaan and Phoenicians without telling me......
how consider themselves Descendants of Abraham when the story of abraham was senturies later?

Wewelsburg wasn't Himmlers first choice.

It's funny how they have just scrambled a bunch of different sources together, which is evident by how the tone is so different and changing, like how the Runes is first said to have “semitic origins” to then say “we don't really know where and how the runes originated” hahahahaha.
I find it ironic that the most powerful form of the sieg rune was used by four Jewish boys from Brooklyn.... Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Paul " Ace" Frehley and Peter Criss...🤔
MUH EBIL NAZIS
yeah lmao, some people just don't know what they're talking about. Like the übermensch thing is so shallowly glossed over that people dismiss it instead of looking at ancient civilizations such as hyperborea, atlantis and ancient egypt.
Why does this sound like Kurzgesagt?
I don't understand how anyone in Germany especially would tolerate the use of the signs from the Nazi era.
I know, after my husband was stationed in Germany 3 times, there are still those who deny the Holocaust.
I worked with Germans who either served in the military or grew up and the effects.
We, also, traveled throughout many countries. You knew if you had stopped in an area where the old Nazi beliefs were strongly held onto. We were, also, told of places to eat to stay away from.
After visiting some of the concentration camps, there's a lasting impact. It could be sunny and warm in the parking area. As soon as you enter, it would turn overcast chilly and you instantly got the feeling someone was with you that you couldn't see. Back at the car, you're back to sunny and warm.
There's freedom of speech but with anti-semitic behavior on a marked increase, you must be extremely careful and wary. Universities and cities aren't doing enough to protect our Jewish students and neighbors.
Why are places in Europe allowing Jewish homes and businesses be marked with the Star of David?
All the pogroms and Holocaust should be enough history to prove there's danger if not stopped.
Kids, I mean lol
The Phoenicians were Canaanites and the seed of HAM not Abraham. Canaan was Ham’s fourth child and was cursed by Noah.
None of this is true. Go ask ChatGPT if runes are Semitic!!!!
Chatgpt, the end-all be-all of scholarly debate. 😂
One leading (though unsettled) theory is that they developed from the Etruscan alphabet, which developed from Greek scripts, which came from Phoenician scripts (a Semitic language), which developed from Proto-Sinaitic scripts, from Egyptian Hieroglyphs.
Runes are the original, Sargon was shipped down the river, thus the Moses Story. Sargon was from the Gutian.
39:05 kek, the Azov batallion... they're now exempt from outrage

Strange Stuff
This symbol is used by the rock group, Kiss.
I disagree that Kiss is a modern band.
The symbols themselves are less important than the meaning given to them at a specific historical moment. The illusion that a symbol can mean the same thing in different times and places, however, is very powerful because ideology often produces a toxic mix of anachronism and fanaticism. Nazism as a political phenomenon is dead, so much so that it has become an object of study. Yet judging by the strength that neo-Nazism has gained in Ukraine in recent years, Germany and the EU need to be careful, as dead brutal political systems can be reborn modified under different conditions.
They might be superior but not wise, because if they were wise they would have not started WWll
Or stoped before it became to much to handle
The main original start of WW2 was because they wanted to take over land so they could give it to the German people for the traditional farming life that Heinrich was so obsessed with.
