Palos Verdes was screwed by the CIF. Palos Verdes was the best team in Division 2 during the regular season. Palos Verdes got put in a Division with just Division 1 teams in the playoffs and they are Division 2. They should have been in the division with La Serna. To add insult to the predicament, the CIF placed them an undefeated team at the bottom of the bracket so they had to play Mission Viejo the number 2 seed. The CIF just went by rankings and screwed Palos Verdes. Sad really they had a Championship caliber team.
Some one at Palos Verdes must have pissed someone off in the CIF. The first time I have seen this happen.
