Just watched a video about a pensioner who'd had a heart attack in Bucha, who had been in military. He asked for a antitank weapon the Russians had left behind when talking to Ukraine soldiers and it had 4 thingies to fire. When the Russians came through, he opened fire. He did not have enough weapons to completely finish them, but called in his contacts. A very brave man. I worried so much for any nearby animals, but some of the devastation you see might have been due to this lone, tough old pensioner and the return fire. It is so sad. He was interviewed in a garden full of ripening apples. A dream of a pretty huge garden. I am glad a lot of Russians are running away from Russia, to not have to fight. As winter hits, these wonderful people will need a lot more food for animals, maybe some waterproof shelters. And maybe people could sponsor dogs being shipped to rescues in other countries? Those rescues have their own nation's dogs to look after. They will need extra funds, too. I wish that winner of 171 million euros in some huge lottery would just finance this rescue/feeding set up, with a million. Let them establish a home base, transport, and food

I would like to say a massive thank you for saving these beautiful souls 💖 war is just as brutal and scary for them as it is for humans and when families are torn apart by war these souls are the first casualties often left behind by the panic and evacuation it is wonderful to see people out there giving them hope and treatment. May this war be over soon and they can all be reunited with their loved ones ❤
