Blaming bad influences is pathetic. He’s showing no accountability. The only thing he regrets is getting caught. I don’t wanna see him back on track.

We’ve all made mistakes Fella.. but not many of us have robbed disabled people threatening them with a knife..blaming others for your downfall is pathetic and typical of today’s generation .. yes you’ve done your time but have you any consideration whatsoever for those you terrified and the consequences of your actions..sometimes just saying sorry is not enough…others will decide if you deserve a chance to shine in the sport..Good luck for the future and hope you have had the opportunity to reflect on the damage done.

he talks about being in with the wrong crowd but he was 26 when this happened, not an impressionable young teenager. he says he was trying to help people out, but how was he helping anybody by commiting these crimes. for those who do not know:
On 10 April 2020 Garrity forced his way into the property of a man who is bed-bound and made demands to hand over all his money.
Garrity took his wallet and other items and then attempted to use his bank card to withdraw cash but was unsuccessful.
On April 14, Garrity followed a woman on a mobility scooter to her home in Droylsden.
He opened her door and came into her property brandishing a knife and demanding money before stealing a bag containing her bank cards.
i am not saying he doesnt deserve another chance but what he is saying doesnt make sense.

The story doing the rounds is that he was back in prison less than a month after this 'Im a good boy' interview. Any comments or confirmation?

"shock exit from Seedway" it wasn't like he retired, he was in prison, where he probably still should be.

Shouldn’t deserve to. Not many get another chance. Why should he after robbing bed ridden people at knife point. He said he was helping people what a joke. Get to the job centre like everyone else yobbo

He falls to answer the question, why did he do these horrible crimes against vulnerable people. How would he feel if it was his parents? He avoids the issue. Who was he helping apart from himself?

He keeps saying "everything what happened " instead of "What i did",this is deflection, he is/was a decent rider and i really want to forgive him but its very hard to do so,thinking of the nature of the crimes i wanted a better explanation from him,not this BS about "helping people out,it backfired "

The past is past, and regardless, everyone deserves a second chance, even if its to prove to those who have knocked Jason, and this is your chance to show you've learn't your lesson, and this is the time for you to take that second chance. You, Jason Garrity, just needs to make sure that 2nd time turns out to be a lot better than before your troubles came to a head. Not only was life crap, and you found that out to your own cost, it was by your mistakes that caused it to happen. You're 30 now, and this will be your last chance, so having that 2nd chance, can start you off on the speedway trail again? But you'll have to work hard to get yourself up there with the best around right now, but I know the Jason Garrity of old would love the chance to do well, and yes, I know being all time fan of your speedway exploits, expect a even better rider to be coming back into the sport before to long, and all you need is the breaks, and people to trust you, so get back on track and show them, and yes, behave this time, people are less forgiving otherwise. Just make sure you're making every lap of a track count, and that will then start to build you confidence up, and yes, hopefully a good future for you once again in the sport. Ok, your speedway exploits hit the buffers, due to your own stupidity, and don't ever forget that. Now its your one & only chance to come I expect to set yourself a target, find yourself a regular ride, and make it happen for them, doing your best. Set yourself a target of getting back into of somewhere near that top ten British riders out there, at present, tough ask yes, but you know you were once good, and frankly there were many who could not compete against you when at your best Jason? So, I like many expect to see you coming to the forefront in due course when it comes to speedway. Good Luck JG, I expect many past speedway fans and those who supported you, like myself, will be glad to see you back in the sport real soon hopefully? Just show them that you mean business when you're on your bike at various venues, and that you're trying and doing your best, to say sorry, but also to give something back to make amends for what can only be said has sheer stupidity on your part. And to finish, I for one will be following your progress in the future, that's for sure, no matter who you join up with eventually....Yes, you deserve your 2nd chance mate, of course you do, but this time, make the most of it and be good at what you can do.
