Hi, Razor. Rice Paddy is not rice at all but a type of herb instead. The rice paddy you're taking about is rice 🍚 growing in rice field ie, like rice grains. But, yes, you are right about the rice Paddy and how people harvest them. Lol...We are in the process of drying our grains at the moment. @ca32stkn thank you. How do we prevent it from turning yellow? I don't know if a spider got to one of the bigger plants, but it's starting to yellow and I noticed there were some spider webs around that plant. There are about 10 in a bin and I'm afraid the yellowing might spread to the newly grown ones.😢 Also there is algae that I can't seem to get rid off. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, no drainage holes at all. It liked to sit in water about an inch high. I just use normal soil that's from my planter bed.
