Yeah that second stage was packed last time, I think they will be well received.

If you haven’t seen QOTSA live make sure you do. You’ll gain huge respect for what Josh Homme is and does for the industry.
I think the lineup is brilliant. Not as many bands that brung me to my first download last year however theres a lot of bands that will make it as unforgettable as my first time
Yeah, I know a lot of people are moaning about certain bands but this is still a strong lineup
Totally agree Pantera headlining second stage is an error. It is the biggest name the whole lineup. So excited by this lineup though!! Will we see Tom morello joining Frank Carter for Tyrant Lizard? 🤨

Busted has to be one of the more random acts to be announced for some time! Was looking forward to Download already but even more now although there could be quite a few clashes looking at the day and stage splits. Really looking forward to seeing what QOTSA do with their headline slot, saw them last year on tour and were really good and heavier than their albums. Can't wait to see Electric Callboy again although worried they might clash with Sum 41. Need to start working my way through some of the smaller bands now
Can you even imagine if Busted played 15 years ago, so many piss filled bottles being thrown it would have flooded the tent!
You know Download is over when the teen pop friendly shite of Busted are playing.Along with Billy Talent it's yet more proof of what a joke it has become.

Was just thinking the same thing Busted are future headliners for me and also if you haven't checked our Mr Bungle too do do he's great.Even though Zippy and George left the band he's still as cuddly as ever!
This will be my 2nd Download, attended the last year as well and was awesome! I was a bit disappointed with the headliners ngl but I’m buzzing with the perspective of watching Pantera, Machine Head, Limp Bizkt, Allien Weaponry, Royal Blood and so many others! Will be amazing again!
I think some of the posters do have "with more to be announced".
I noticed that alot of bands are playing Nova Rock festival the same weekend as Download. I wonder if it's possible a few more who are playing at Nova Rock could be playing at Download too and thats who's going to be in the last announcement? I know it's a long shot, but Steel Panther or even Avril Lavigne would be a solid shout.
Just hope pantera & Fear Factory don't clash. Think I'll have to miss billy talent.
Undercard this year is fantastic in my opinion. Some years its great main stage and crap elsewhere. However this year will be brilliant overall.
From my count I think there was like 20 or so bands in this announcement. So i think we will get a 3rd closer to the time

when do they sell day tickets? i cant go for a whole weekend so im thinking to go just Sunday, mainly for limp bizkit. can i preorder or anything? are they likely to sell out, i dont want to miss out
I'm sure it won't be long until day tickets go on sale, especially now they have announced day splits.
If you aren't sure about Bad Omens, I'd say watch them live. I thought they were ok, but not a band I'd choose to see or listen to. However, when I knew they were supporting Bring Me we decided to watch their whole set. They had the biggest crowd I've ever seen for a support band at an arena show and put on an outstanding show. They really won me and all my group over, so much so that we are all planning to see them at Download. I would say give them a go live, you might be surprised. Think Busted is an inspired booking too. Biggest thing for me on this is Shikari on the main stage. They deserve it soooo much.
Think this is the future for Download, going forward they won't have as many massive headliners to go with so getting some smaller headliners and a strong undercard is their best bet imo, although personally I love all three headliners. Never seen The Offspring, Pantera, Machine Head or Busted and haven't seen Limp Bizkit, Queens, Avenged, FOB, Sum 41 in a long time, so that's worth the ticket price alone, throw in a bit of Heilung, Bowling for Soup, Bleed From Within and Slaughter to Prevail among others and that's a stacked lineup right there.

I think you've just answered it yourself; they're on their own tour, plus they never play download.
@@mosty85 they have signed a deal to play at some point and I’m sure tbey would sooner headline download than do a night in arena

Was interested In Pantera being so popular, but all Iv heard is a lot of the controversy! Puts me off seeing them and thought it might others So maybe it won’t be so busy ?
Move the 2 nd stage back would be better last year it was so rammed I felt 4 some people in the crowd
I can't justify spending the money to go to Download unless the headliners are bands that I like. 2022 I went on Saturday because of Iron Maiden & Megadeth. 2023 Metallica, Bring me the Horizon and Ghost made me decide to go for all four days. This year none of the bands interest me.
As long as they don't make the mistake they did with Biffy and have Pantera clash with FOB cus FOB will be sparse! More room for me though.
