It sheds a very sad and emotional light on their beautiful performance that night.

Just about any theatrical event's Opening Performance is FULL of backstage drama. Backstage is NEVER a good place for people with weak hearts - seriously. In the movie "Shakespeare In Love" there's the moment when the confusion and commotion leading up to the curtain's open gets to the financial backer and he asks the Producer how a play ever goes on at all? He's told "I don't know, it's a mystery". If you've ever been backstage that quote sums up backstage life in a theatre. So much goes on there are usually a couple of "house-afire" moments at any one time. Been there, done that.

When she sings opera she is forcing a more mature sound, we get glimpses of it here and there when she can't maintain the operatic voice and she has a nice pop voice. Now we know what that sounds like though since she has tried other styles.

Personally I love how Jackie put her own twist to the song, and while this is one of my fav songs from tangled covers are meant for making songs your own rather than listening to carbon copies. But this was such a beautiful duet by them ❤
