This league is fun. Supporting Lunar Owls 🌜🦉 If you know hoops, you can see who has the "more organized" team play on this 3x3. It's about where the shots are coming from, not about just shooting it. Efficiency of shots is still at 50+% (which is usual for Basketball) and given the fast up and down transition pace, if you're only looking at one thing, you are missing a ton on what's going on. The Lunar Owls baited the Rose into taking more long 2s, which is the most inefficient shot in Basketball, and Kah and Gray missed them at the start. Also, whenever Kah was driving, they doubled on the side of the more difficult passing lane - if your team does not have a counter to beat that by moving around, you're not getting a good shot. On Offense they spread the floor wide and move whenever Phee gets to the post - and it was cooking time. DJ knows what he's doing, and Phee thrives on Organized Offense and Defense (just like how the Lynx play). They also have 2 PGs that matches Phee's game and can execute a post pass. Gray with Sykes and Stevens made a. Run because both Sykes and Stevens were sprinting down and rolling to the paint with more pace. But then the rotation happened and that's that for them. Kah didn't do much this game.
