I don’t usually watch book hauls but a second hand one sounds right up my ally. I love buying second hand books or thrifted books. These look so good and also WOW that price 😍 can’t go wrong with that

Eva Ibbotson is an interesting author. She was born in the 1920s in Austria and her family moved to England to escape Hitler's takeover of Austria. Her books are set in the early 20th century. They are not steamy and they lean towards young/new adult, but I've enjoyed them. I've read A Company of Swans and really liked it. Gave it an A-. I've also read A Countess Below Stairs, which I liked a little less but it was still good. Two others of hers I'd recommend are The Morning Gift and The Reluctant Heiress.

Thank you so much!!!! I am super excited to have it now. I will also check out these other ones. Thanks for the recommendation 🥰🥰🥰

@@bookedforromance I have not read the latter two books I've mentioned so I'm recommending them based on my readings of her other books that I've read. Keep in mind, that Ibbotson was writing from a prior time - the early to mid 20th century. She is not a modern writer. Her books are interesting because of that. You should approach her writing as you would someone who wrote in the early 1900s.
