[de] In der Nacht vom 10. auf den 11. Mai kam es zu hellen Polarlichtern über Europa und dem nordamerikanischen Kontinent. Verursacht wurden die Polarlichter durch einen geomagnetische Sturm der Kategorie G5, ausgelöst durch einen X-Flare auf der Sonne.
[en] On the night of 10 to 11 May, there were bright auroras over Europe and the North American continent. The auroras were caused by a geomagnetic storm of category G5, triggered by an X-flare on the sun.
