I just came across your channel, this blew me out of my mind, it seems so simple to think of but in reality you still gotta be crafty! You're amazing!!!! I subbed
you probably dont give a shit but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Cameron Solomon I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I bought a same size grid from a different brand for my softbox. I've been struggling to find thin, ultra light material to make a rigid frame to tape to the box when I want to use it 😭
Great idea by the time I pay for materials and time invested, id probably be better off getting some from B&H for $9. Although I will probably make one just for a project to do for a video in future then compare it to the ones I buy
Someone tried it? Because I tried it and the size didn't fit, I cut 16 strips with 87 cm, I used the 14.2 cm card and when a finished to folder the strips in the card I realized that 87 was small. Could someone tell me what was my mistake.
If the strips turned out to be too short for your project, you can sew or glue the missing length. For me, 87cm stripes are appropriate. For safety, you can use the 89cm belt.

Hot glue would melt under high heat temperatures and the whole thing would fall apart. I would suggest sewing it together instead.
It should work with LED light though.
One of the best ideas for diy GRID
Project's execution is a perfection itself and the presentation is also creative. Keep doing it, the videos are so interesting and useful!
Thank you!

Superb work
0:35 can you explain why did you add 2 cm there?
This is an extra piece in case of mistake. It is better to cut off the excess than to stick it when there is no more.

There is a cheat approach - fabric tape and a stapler))
Amazing, please what is the kind of fabric used on it? Because there are many kinds of bags.
It's polypropylene
@@kikomoda okay big thanks friend
Hmm. Interesting! What material did you start with? Looks very good!
100% POLYPROPYLENE, shopping bag Martes

Indonesian? "it's really good to fight"?
excelente idea lo mejor sin tener que pagar cosas super costosas
How great is that! You have to sell this!
thank's
Not bad. Any follow-up regarding how well it has held up over a year or two?
GoDox has an 80x120cm grid for $66. Trying to determine cost-benefit.
I've been using it for over a year and it works great. I know you can buy it, but I wanted to do it myself. Besides, it's a good idea for a DIY movie.
@@kikomoda Cool, I might invest the time to DIY it.
that hot glue is really good enough?
Hot glue sticks well, but gives off fumes when in contact with this material. It is good to glue with the window open
What material is this bag made of?
It's polypropylene. The synthetic material of the bag in combination with the hot glue can give off toxic fumes. Open the window.
can I do this with cardboard ? hugs from Brazil !
I think so. It should work the same.
What is thing for? The process is very pleasant to observe, by the way^•^
The grid focuses the light.
Tried to search for polypropylene bags. Couldn't find. Can you provide me some link?
It's polypropylene. I bought a bag at a sports store (Martes Sport)
Impressive!
Excellent!
Which cloth material use for this ???
This bag is polypropylene.
