@@Haynesvilleguide Thanks! I keep seeing does but no buck yet...Today witnessed a Lynx , coyote, rabbit, and two patridge. fun day on a 6 mile mountain loop in Maine.
Beautiful buck, enjoyed your video. My dad and I have pulled many deer out of the woods here in Minnesota, in the “Big Woods”. My dad taught me a trick that seems to help me. Use the method you are using except bring the front feet up to the rack or head, then tie them over the top of the head. Seems to help by not having the front legs catching on obstacles. Best of luck to you my friend!
@@Haynesvilleguide For sure, I think you're right about the deer just thinking you're a moose or another deer if you move along slowly enough. I hope you get to NY so we can get some more footage this year
I have a question about your vest...i have the same one. I live in vermont and love to hunt maine...because of moments like yours. My question is...all the old timers ive come up with told me it was not legal because of the maine orange law. Am i misinformed or just not reading the law correctly?
@Haynesvilleguide thanks for that...also. congratulations on a great buck! I'm in Medway trying to do the same! Love your channel. Your sense of humor great!

Congratulations Steve!! Incredible footage for whitetails here in Maine, and self shot footage on top of that, Kudos!! 👍 If you wouldn't mind sharing, what type of camera and harness are you using, cool view, and curious how long your battery in your camera lasts? I use a GoPro Hero 9, and my battery only lasts about 2-2.5 hours when warm out, and only using 1080p for video. Time wise, my camera is dead in the water after just a couple hours, not nearly enough for the whole day. Thank you, and great job!! 👍🦌🦌
