hey! im attending AU in the fall and I'm so glad you posted this! The video is so well put together and edited very cleanly. Thanks for talking about class times and the assignments you have to do, it makes it easier to put myself in your shoes! I'm also happy to see another black girl at this school (from my research, the school is majority-white which makes me nervous) Anyways! I hope finals went well and I love your content!

aww I’m glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! And the classes and assignments are bearable and the adjustment just comes with time, yes this school is very white but you get used to it and it’s really helpful once find your group of people that you feel comfortable with. I’m so so happy you enjoy my content and there will be more :) Good luck in the fall and if you need any advice feel free to dm me on insta💕

I toured AU over spring break of this year and cancelled my following Georgetown tour because of how impressed I was with AU in general. Despite my excitement, I'm super nervous about going there. I graduate in spring of 2025, and while that's still ways away, I'm so nervous for when the time actually comes to lock in and go to college. I'm like 98% sure AU is the college for me, but moving to a big city all by myself is a big change. I worry about how I'll pay for my own stuff, how I'll feel sleeping with a roommate, or even just taking a shower. However, from the handful of videos I've seen of AU and the tour i took, the students seem very welcoming. Hopefully this is the case when I start at AU.

@@slixnoir adjusting to college in general is hard for everyone, but i promise you that everyone goes through it. You will eventually find your routine of things, it just takes some time to adjust, but you got this!

@@tiffanygwengo Thank you. It's relieving to hear that. The more and more I hear about AU, the more it sounds like the right place to be. For now, it's only a matter of admission and picking my major. 🫡

@@slixnoirif it makes you feel any better, I switched my major three times within the span of a year and I know everyone at AU has either thought about switching their major or actually did at least once and this is not to discourage you at all, this is just to say that don’t feel bad if you feel like you don’t have everything figured out cause no one really does and we’re all still learning as we go

Hey! AU is a frontrunner for my freshman year next year so it's great to see what life is like on campus. I have heard some complaints about antisemitism from the administration, can you speak at all to that? Or any discrimination?

Hi! Sorry I’m replying so late but as far as conversations around antisemitism from administration, I will say that it’s definitely been frustrating from all sides for sure. It’s hard to have a definite answer since I’m at AU as everything is happening right in the moment with heightened emotions and I’m hearing so many different things so I don’t want to give you a skewed answer cause I feel as if that wouldn’t be fair to you. I’m so sorry cause I definitely don’t think I’m the right person to give an answer. I wish I could be more specific and give you more answers :(
