dolphins 2 utila

My dream came true! I went to Utila because I knew there was a chance (ONLY A CHANCE, not a guarantee) to see dolphins in the wild. I was scuba diving there. On this day, I did not feel like diving, but I didn't want to miss out just in case they saw dolphins, so I paid $25 to go on the boat with the divers, and just snorkel. After the first dive, the captain got word that there were rough-toothed dolphins in the lagoon!! These dolphins are very playful, and the lagoon is shallow so it was a perfect situation. 15 minutes later, we were swimming with them, in the natural environment, not enclosed, not in captivity!! It was the most amazing 15 minutes of my life.
