You are hitting the notes but the guitar sound of the CDLC is awful. You can Rearoute (via Reaper and an audio interface) Rocksmith and play the song with a Neural DSP Archtype plugin or whatever plugin you have will sound better than this.. you can also mute the guitar sound of rocksmith and it will still notice the notes when you play them but you hear the sound of your plugin of choice
Plugins are good for the bedroom studio stuff and when taking things seriously. However with Rocksmith I play alot of different style of music with drastically different tones and if i start involving Neural DSP I would probably end up spending more time tinkering with my tone-settings instead of playing. Whenever I run into charts with bad tones I just flip manually using my num-pad key to my "bathsalts distortion" and it usually suits most lead tones. Also want to mention I agree this particular chart does not have the best tones, however there are ALOT of CDLCcreators that take their charts seriously (Mikson / Bigle) and the tones they have are near perfect
