one of my favorite things specifically about Don't Leave Me Alone is that Jay B said he divided up the the parts of the bridge after the order of the members joining the group. So Jinyoung and Jaebeom start since they debuted with JJproject first, then Jackson and Mark, then Yugyeom and BamBam and lastly Youngjae is singing alone because he's their last piece. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

Definitely a no skip album. Got7's discography is diverse but this album honestly is a true reflection of them. I cannot choose a favorite cuz the whole album is so good. I am so happy you are enjoying your Got7 journey. They are my ult group for a reason. 💚

Yayy now you've entered a rabbit hole. Got7 is known for having GREAT B-sides. Trust me all the bsides from the other albums are as good as these songs. Before they had much freedom to write and compose their bsides so the fandom as a whole appreciates it more than some title tracks.
I can’t decide what song is my favorite on the album they are just so good. But don’t leave me alone just has a special place in my heart, especially when Jay B said the bridge that had Caitlin freaking out in don’t leave me alone starts with Jay B and Jinyoung starts then follows the rest of the members in order that joined the group. There is just something about mark singing in don’t leave me alone. The flute in drive me to the moon. There is so much more I can say but this GOT7 album is going in history 💚

I heard that JYP signed off on it and they are going to be able to do that! Only seen one article on it so not fully confirmed yet.
@@AmazedbyGrace95 I heard they actually had to go through the legal process and buy the copyrights because JYPE actually extended all of GOT7's copyrights to 2024 in an attempt to keep them when they were leaving. I think the second part (extension of copyrights) was confirmed but unsure about the accuracy of the first part. Either way, I'm happy now they themselves own everything GOT7!
hi. can you share where you read/heard about this? I know he's recently created a 528hz label but didn't hear anything about moving other members to it? thanks
@@speicertus the normal unofficial places like Soompi and AllKpop have been reporting that he has at least most of the rights in his company. The group will be under his plus Warner's labeyl i think, but the individuals will still have their own personal careers wherever they've signed previously. (like Jackson with Team Wang)

JAYB said that the bridge for Don't Leave Me Alone was sung in the order of which member joined GOT7 and I've never been the same since. It's a song (from what I know) is dedicated to ahgases. That we're somehow the source of their strength and eases them into peace in a way. I've been crying about this song for days now since I watched the fancon over the weekend.
Two is my favorite track though and now that I've seen the english lyrics, it suddenly makes sense. It checks out all the boxes lol

Jinyoung cried while performing this song for the first time at their comeback FANCON Homecoming concert - it broke me into a million pieces and solidified why I will NEVER stan another group or leave them! 💚🫶🏽

fans have speculated and hoped (me) that they would do something for jus2 again considering that yugyeom is under aomg and jayb is under h1ghr and they’re both like sister companies, founded by j park (he is no longer the ceo of either from what I know) and artiest from both labels are always working together.

ur an aghase after this. i can see the love pouring out of you and i'd like to give it right back! i really like the things that you pick up on. i'm jb biased, his soundcloud stuff was what made me start listening to got7 instead of just watching them on variety shows (his account is def. if you ever wanna check it out in your own time). tbh, the way he was utilized in the vocal lineup under jyp didn't highlight his strengths. i know every other aghase, no matter their bias, probably feels similarly. got7 can do trends. they are making music that is very anchored in an era. but their personalities are the main draw and they've been unleashed! it's a beautiful feeling and i really hope that other idols can follow in their footsteps. i think you were right when you said that this is an important comeback in the "nanana" reaction. even though got7 is in my heart, this comeback is bigger for the industry. anything that gives performers an edge is something to be celebrated. 💚💚💚 welcome to the flock!

Nanana, Truth, and Don't Leave me Alone is written by Def. also known as Jay B. Drive me to the moon is by Ars, or Youngjae. I was surprised when you said Yugyeom's voice fits perfectly with Two because he wrote it. and Don't Care About Me is made by Jinyoung and Yugyeom. Aside from them, there are also other amazing individuals that contributed to the tracks! I hope you can continue to love these boys cause this is just the start!
Since you mentioned Jay B and yugyeom's voise, You're going to LOVE their subunit named Jus2. They have a titletrack named Focus on me and their album focus is SOOOO good.

The “hollo hollo” bits in Don’t Leave Me Alone that were supposedly Youngjae were sung by Jinyoung. Youngjae might have sung together because the parts were it was supposedly just Jay B sounded like Yugyeom was singing together too. But yes this song is like a warm hug! I didn’t expect to love it this much but it really got to me. And you’re right, Jinyoung’s voice is very romantic! Very smooth as well, especially his runs. I can’t believe he’s only recovered from COVID one day before recording this album (which btw was recorded over 1-2 days). 😳

the Don't Leave Me Alone bridge is intentional. JayB said at the fancon he arranged it so everybody took part of it, first he & Jinyoung starts cz they both started first as JJ Project, then comes Jackson & Mark who later joined them, then comes YugBam, and last Youngjae who finally completes them and become GOT7. Knowing the story behind it now i always teared up every time i listen to this song, especially that part :')

Don't Care About Me has got its hook in me from the time medley teaser was released and it hasn't let go. My top three would be it, Drive Me To the Moon and NANANA.
It was difficult though, kinda like choosing a bias in GOT7 lol. I like Two a lot as well, and have a feeling Truth is really going to grow on me. While Don't Leave Me Alone is kind of a given.

They need their flowers to top spinning top. Spinning top probably the best album in my opinion in got7 discography. But this album throw it out in my Spotify list. GOT7 by GOT7 is just pure platinum in my ears 😭😭😍

Personally Dont Leave Me Alone is my favorite song from the album 😭, I was like you where I was just vibin to the album then BOOM I’m crying bc of how emotional this song is. They said this song was for us to listen to when we miss them while they do their solo work. Jay B wrote the bridge in the order that each member joined the group, first Jay B himself and Jinyoung debuted as JJP, then Jackson and Mark joined as members of GOT7, then Yugyeom and Bambam, and finally Youngjae, and after all the members singing, Jay B ended the bridge, stating that it was like a never ending cycle

If you start to dive into GOT7 officially and you do album listens you should start at the very beginning to see their progression and growth into the artist they are now.

i wanna add though that GOT7 does have sub-units. there's JJProject (jayb x jinyoung) and JUS2 (jayb x yugyeom). JJProject's album called "Verse 2" is phenomenal. totally album of the year in 2017. still, to this day, the album i totally worship. it's SO good. in case you wanted to check it out too! 😊

Got7 does sub-units sometimes, you will find it more in some of their Japanese albums. The New Era and I Won't Let You Go both have some and I think all the unit songs are pretty good (in my opinion). There are also some Korean ones on their Present: You & Me album where every member also has a solo.
Please you should react to The Ultimate Guide to Got7 by OT7Agha. There are lots of things of them, both as a whole group & each of them as personal you would really love to know & make you fall in love over & over again with them both as an artist & a human being. Plus its in English! Looking forward to it.
