You'd have thought a couple of letters along the lines of "your name is very close to ours, we'd appreciate you changing it, or we're both gonna waste alot of cash on lawyers" would have sorted it out.

Whatever happened to the spirit of partnership….. Virtue could have reached thousands if not 100s of thousands of potential players with their products being featured in the game. That would have been more advertisement than they would have ever spent money on.

So do we know if the entire game has been axed or will they continue to develop under a new name. I was really looking forward to a new paintball game for my PS5. Heck I would even be willing to pay for it
As on now they are going forward as planned, just changing the name.
Thank god! I thought $10 million might shut the whole thing down. I can only play old school Hastings so long on my PS5. Don’t get me wrong I love it but when you spend 3k on a TV and $500 on PS5 it leaves you wanting more. Like shooting field paint that has been sitting for a year through a Fossil CS3. Never reaches full potential lol
Virtua Paintball has less to worry about Legally from Virtue paintball and more to worry about from SEGA.
Virtua is SEGA's trade mark.. Has been since 1991 and their arcade game *Virtua Racing*
If Virtue has a valid case? (They really don't. ), Then?
*SEGA then has the legal right to sue Virtue Paintball out of business by the exact same legal precedent.*
not only Virtua Racing, but a whole line of Virtua sports titles. Black Zebra did 0 research before picking the name Virtua and then had to face the consequences.

@@RuinedClips moat of the Virtua series of games have been great but Virtua Tennis? Got a BIG weak spot for that particular series.. all of them were exceptional.
Change the name and move on, or license their name unless they just hate you and will not cooperate.
