My 4 year old is exempt from using a booster in a taxi, but this doesn't stop me from bringing one if we ever have to use a taxi. Just because they are exempt, doesn't mean they have to NEVER use one, in the same context that the officer states that just because the limit is 120 km/h doesn't mean you have to go at the max speed.
120 is the maximum speed, not implying you have to do that speed. If you had to tell someone that their child or loved one is dead ya would have a very different view regarding speed.
The guy stopped for no insurance in the background looks like the Lourdes church . So from memory its harmons garden . I went to the CBS school on the top of the hill and after school there was nearly always a fight in the green behind the Gardai .

Go into court and sit there ive seen a woman who stole 5 euro socks and she was homless the judge gave her 400 euro fine and 6 months to pay it. Judges are brain dead hows he going to pay that. So he will go to jail cost the tax payer thousands to keep him in prison over a 5 euro pair of socks. Its beyond stupidy.

I can see from the video that he had to have the belt off in order to lean out the window to be able to use the speed gun but if he had a crash at 190KMH with no seat belt on, he would have absolutely no chance. 190KMH is way too fast to be driving at on a motorway with lots of other traffic driving at 70 -80 KMH slower than you also. If someone changed lane at the last second, it would cause a serious accident.

An accident driving at 120 kmh is like falling from the 9th floor less 12 inches u would only get a bruise. If u and the RSA were so concerned about speed why has speed limits INCREASED from 112kmh to 120kmh. Or 70mph to 75mph
Ireland only switched to kilometers in 2005 so a lot of vehicles will still have the speedo in miles, lots of cars from Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK do come into Ireland so speedos in miles are still common over there.
