  • From France to New York, then Montreal - Ethel Mae's lola worked as a caregiver to support and move her family from the Philippines. Currently working at the bank, rock climbing for fun & traveling the world whenever she can - like many Filipinos of the diaspora, Ethel used to hide her nationality from fear of being rejected by her Canadian-born peers. Today, she says that being born in the Philippines was a blessing that she would never trade.
Opinions by the people, for the people - to inspire community strength, pride & leadership.
