Frogs and Toads of North America

This video shows most of the toad and frog species found in North America. The order consists of species in the Families with the most species: Toads, Treefrogs (including cricket and chorus frogs) and "True" frogs, and then species with fewer species. Within the families with multiple species, the order is roughly from East to West. Where my high-quality video with sound was lacking, I have added my photos and, usually an audio of the call recorded by me. Other recordings are from the CD accompanying the book: Frogs and Toads of North America by Lang Elliott, Carl Gerhardt, and Carlos Davidson (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). There are brief audio comments throughout regarding taxonomy, behavior and natural history. I plan to update this video with more UHD clips during 2023.
