All the people I mentioned were Black American descendants of US Chattel Slavery from non-immigrant backgrounds. There’s a video on here called Black Americans birth hip-hop by Truth Savior it’s a very good video proving the origin of hip-hop. Starting at 13 minutes and 40 seconds in Cool Herc in his own words explains that Jamaican culture had nothing to do with the birth of hip-hop, respectfully.
